on the same idea HS could have offered to stay back half day to take care of chachi to help babita. And Babita was like his work is more important somewhere pointing that her work & identity is not important. I understand if it was about the nature of jobs they do (like a doctor vs any career the doctors work comes first because of emergencies) but here it was not about that,

l lot of time has passed since then.. Babita had no one but Mini at that time.. I think she would be more open to the idea if explained.. she might react negatively at first but she will agree

Mini at that had convinced her it was a passing idea so I don't think she even remembers it now

Babita now views PB as a hobby while Hanuman's as a real job.. so it's easy for her to take a break instead of Hanuman

I had no money when I left, I had to start from scratch. It was tough.

true some of my friends have worked 4-5 years before marriage and living with parents saved up a lot and taken a long break after kids are born. But they did save up a lot before they did that. these days even to buy a house both spouses need to earn there is no choice.

Anyhow to make this clear, I don't personally think Babita should shut down PB.. I just think she should be given the time to make up her mind on what she wants and do exactly that and then face the consequences if it turns iut to be a wrong decision.. for once, she should decide without any prodding or bhashans.. that's all
