Regarding HS being Mahan......he was never and will never be. He has lots of flaws, some of them are very obvious and he doesn't even bother to rectify them. If he was Mahan, he would be doing everything happily but he is not. He is suffering and suffocating and it's quiet obvious on his eyes and body language.

He had a very clear idea about not getting enough emotional support from Babitha before marriage but he had hoped for the same from Mini. The way she understood his feelings for Imarti and his mother had given him a lot of confidence . He wanted Mini to be with him every second and that's why he was assigning her so many works including keying his watch everyday With the CD incident everything went to drain. Now he feels all alone without her and breaking little everyday. The same goes for Mini.

There is only one solution for this.... a real confrontation between HS and Mini. Until he makes it clear to her what place she holds in his life nothing will become right.

Regarding Babitha changing her surname I have no problem with it. It should be her choice. Neither Mini nor anyone else should have a sy in this. She can be independent even after being Babitha Singh. Infact, I want Mini to take up his name and become Mini Babitha Singh one day.

I agree, a real confrontation is needed with lots of dhamaaka, whether it's screaming and shouting or tons of rona dhona, or both. I don't care, but it should happen. We've been wanting it for ages but they haven't given us anything proper yet, just bits and pieces.

Minnie Babita Singh... Hmmm kab ayega woh din? Again, I would also want both Babita and Minnie to take HS' name of her own will, not because of any pressure.

When I talk about being frustrated with no growth in Babita's character or Mini being shown Mahaan and giving gyaan to Babita all the time, or HS acting out of character, I am faulting the writers and no one else. These are not real characters, they are being written by someone so obviously the main fault is the writing, not the characters, or the actors.

Nah, agar fan wars hotey to bohot pehli hi ho jaatey.

And look at us, after complaining for weeks about the writing, we ourselves are still writing pages and pages here.

This show is addictive and despite all the writing and character flaws we are still here. 😆

You know, this is actually one of the most important points in the story. I really hope they handle it with sensitivity and not offend the audience. There are many families where taking your husband's name is common and others where it's a foreign concept and never happens.

As long as people do it because they want to and not because they are forced to, it's fine. Being able to choose to change your name out of love is also a form of emancipation. Babita should be able to choose what she wants and do it because she thinks it's right for her and hopefully not because she wants to blend her identity in with his.

And please, don't let her remove his name or threaten to drop it when she has a major fight with him. I want this to be a conscious decision that she makes.

It's not a small gesture.....Babita is anyways showing since many days that she wants to lose her identity in just being a wife and nothing more........the change in surname is just the capping of that sentiment.

So there is no turn towards guilt here.....they are building up what's been shown since many days anyways.....Babita has gotten carried away in wanting to "drown in love" as she calls it....to the extent where she is losing her identity.

That is all Mini is cautioning her against.

I wonder what NB would think about it, or if she would get involved at all.

It's so frustrating that there's not a single good thing shown about babita since the wedding. How do writers expect us to like a show when one of the protagonist (I hope she's a protagonist) shows no signs of growth. And damage done so far is so bad that I don't see a redemption arc without 360° changes in personality.

And from what we saw in last 2 months or so, it feels like maybe writers didn't want babita's character to grow the way we expected. Maybe they're going to get her divorced for the second time (to prove the point that Ashok was not completely responsible for 1st divorce and then she'll understand about her own flaws). In any case, I didn't sign up for this. For me, PB is already down in the drain.

Oh my goodness a second divorce would give a really bad message to viewers, but maybe as you said this was always the intention. Hum hi nahin samajh paaye.
