I can imagine your perception hina,I can relate to it totally .but still cancer treatment now a days has worked wonders....I know chemo can be fatal and it is not for everyone and am so sorry for this terrible ordeal you had to experience but it treats more than it kills and now a days even liver cancers are curable and many other kinds but depends on when one is diagnosed....but fact remains the cancer is not a disease to hide from one;s family and should be treated in most humane way possible..
are you a researcher by any chance or studying medical? lol
You see my dads sister was visiting us here in UK when she first got diagnosed with cancer and that was the first time anyone in our family had cancer so it was a big shock for us and a whole new experience we had no idea what to do...when we asked the docs to treat her they were like its pointless because the treatment wont work and its like throwing money into the dustbin....my cousin (who was her daughter) got so mad at them and thought they were just saying that because they didnt wanna spend money on her and all and plus they were saying she only has 2 weeks left to live. They were saying instead of treating her, take her back to Pakistan so she can spend her last days with her family.
So we took her back to Pakistan and started getting her treated there..plus she was so upset and wanted to go back to Pakistan she was saying i dont wanna be buried here. So wahan jaake she felt so fresh and she was back to being normal again, but as soon as we took her to the hospital and started getting treatment done thats when she lost her energy she couldnt even get up from bed and spent most of her last days sleeping. Her family still regrets getting her treated and they say we wish we had listened to the UK doctors and just let her spend her last days pain free :(
