I enjoyed both and I generally like Vada Chennai, Pudhupettai Madras kind of movies
As far as Vada Chennai is concerned, if you don't mind the language used, it's fine. Violence is tolerable
The story is told in a non linear fashion,so took some time to understand sequence of events
They have put a of work into some of scenes especially some of the stuff shown in jails
Super Deluxe is a different beast - it's a movie that generally tries to question some of the core beliefs that most of them try to hold on to, some of that deals with faith, moral /ethical values.
There is a good chance for you to find it unacceptable if you have a strong belief in something and what is shown is against that set of beliefs
What I liked the most is that there is nobody who is distinctly good or bad, everyone will have their shady side and everyone's hypocrisy gets shown at some point
Also deals with the larger scheme of things where everyone is connected directly/indirectly in this chaos (heard that its supposed to be a composition of 4 parallel stories where they merge into 1)
