I think the way Mahira and Imran have dealt with the criticism against them is very classy.

I also think Mahira is kind of so-so as an actor, magar I think some of that also is because Mahira herself is such a big star and celebrity that it's hard to separate Mahira from the characters she's playing if that makes sense? And ignoring the acting, she always seems like a nice person, so good for her for being famous like that.

Speaking of Alif, btw, ye Hamza kaunsa nava katta khol raha hai?

I completely agree. The only ones who said they kept telling her to leave him and get help, were Gohar Rasheed and Dua Malik. But this is consistent within film industries across the world. Even with the #MeToo movement in the US, when the stuff about Harvey Weinstein came out, almost everyone said 'oh yeah we knew it was happening'. That profession is just corrupt.

The YouTube comments were all solely about chemistry.. most people did not care about the story at all as far as Sadia Umair were concerned.. bas unki chemistry achi hai tou dikhao unko was the approach.. otherwise both of them had the worst story arc even if rape is not concerned.. they did not even have a proper scene conveying their feelings.. it's solely that people liked their chemistry.. kind of like ITV audience going humein romance chahie . Change husband kesa bhi ho, humein romance dikhao

Aliya being a game changer was once again needed because Zoobie created those situations.. the show has everything for Zoobie.. all aspects covered but they did not even bother showing Sadia's thought process barring the fact that she was a spineless doormat

As for director giving justificatiln, I find it more appalling than impressive that while people wanted to know why Zoobie was forgiven, they did not care that Umair was forgiven for his henious crime.. that actually reflects the sad state of our society more than anything
