She married anurag and they were happy family till bajaj returned. When bajaj came back....he asked prerna to nullify her marriage with anurag but prerna declines....she told jaise woh shaadi kismat ka likha thi.....this is also done by kismat....she wont backoff from marriage with anurag and decided to resign from rishab company which she was handling.
Rishab goes to anurag and asks for forgiveness. Anurag Prerna forgive. He decides that he wants prerna back...he loves her...and he will get her back at any cost. A bomb is put up in anurag company for which he doubts bajaj and put a case against him. Bajaj is proved innocent and one statement of prerna that bajaj cannot kill someone hurt anurag. Bajaj is happy that prerna trusts him. Anurag later sees bajaj with his friend who is also the insurance company head who is delaying anurag's insurance money. Anurag blames bajaj.....prerna goes to confront bajaj...bajaj tells that he dint delayed the insurance money but for her sake...he will make sure the money reaches anurag and he does that. Rishab in order to create misunderstanding btw anurag prerna takes prerna on a office trip with him......where he mixes something in prerna's drink and click some intimate pictures with her. He gave money to hotel manager and asks him to blackmail prerna with those pictures. When prerna confronted him, he said the photos were photoshopped and were not real. He did create a misunderstanding btw prerna anu with this but then prem was kidnapped by subhrato....and anurag blames bajaj for it. The kidnappers wanted money which prerna wanted to give but anurag wanted police to help them instead. Prerna insisted anurag to arrange money but he dint agree. Prerna told mr bajaj that she needs money to save her son which bajaj gives....when prerna goes with money there.....anurag comes with police due to which the gang people put a lot of choloroform on the napkin and put it on child mouth and run. Child was declared dead due to that. Prerna anurag both go blaming on each other....prerna said the child is gone because he brought police while anurag said that child is not there because she brought money, had they not got money, they wouldnt have killed the child. Anurag blamed bajaj for planning this all while prerna supported bajaj as he helped her when needed.
Basu clan grew angry seeing prerna support bajaj.....she was found at bajaj house so many times due to children which anurag misunderstood. He told prerna to stop going there which prerna denied because she considered bajaj childeren her's too. Anurag and prerna started living in different rooms in the same house.......all basu clan supported anurag....one day all prem's toys were being shifted to anurag room when prerna questioned....she was told she was the reason prem is gone and all she cares is for bajaj family. She faced the accusations strongly and left the house.
She got pregnant and anurag was happy and decided to bring her back but komolika changed the papers and it came written in report that bajaj was the dad. Anurag disowned prerna and accused her of infedility. She broke but fought for herself. Anurag threw her out from a hawan which was kept for her son. She was divorced very badly as in case anurag lawyer accused her of infidelity and made her the reason for her son's death. She dint wanted divorce but she was devastated with accusations and agreed to divorce anurag. Anurag married aparna after that. Bajaj took over entire basu's business to take revenge for prerna......anurag accuses prerna of doing that....prerna confronts bajaj and asks him to return everything for her sake. After that bajaj understood her and thought to help and did all he could for her....he was guilty that he did caused troubles to her. Prerna shifted to rishab house as she wanted to live with rishab children....they needed her. Rishab understood that she is here for his children only and always maintained a distance, though he was hurt at many situations.He loved her.
A leap took place and sneha was there now. Rishab did all the dad responsibilities for sneha ( prerna and anurag child) but she wanted to know her papa....one day she hears anurag is her father and goes and tells him. Anurag gets to know she is prerna child and remembers that how she was the result of prerna dhoka to him and ask her to go. She cries badly on prerna lap....and said mere papa kaun hain....anurag uncle nahi hain toh kaun hain. Prerna goes to bajaj and cries and asks him to marry her......bajaj says though its right that he has waited to marry her all his life but he wont do it if the reason is again anurag......prerna says she wants sneha to have her dad with him.....she wants to tell sneha that rishab uska papa hain to which rishab agrees to marry her. They got engaged.
Sneha needed a bone marrow or else she would die and bone marrow had to come from a sibling but sneha had no sibling. Now prerna had to prove to anurag that sneha was his child ...anurag's wife help prerna in proving that......anurag is devastated to know that sneha was his child.....both prerna and anurag cry a lot at this revealation. Four of them decide that prerna and anurag have to give birth to another child to save sneha. For sneha sake....anurag and prerna come together even when bajaj was engaged to prerna and anurag was married to aparna....and prem was born. Rishab took care of a pregnant prerna. Aparna killed anurag as it was found she was villain in show.....anurag got saved and involved prerna in his plan for exposing his wife. Anurag requests prerna not to tell anything to rishab....prerna agreed due to which she lies to rishab at various instances.....when rishab got to know that she lied for so much time....on so much things to him ....and lied so easily.....he was devastated.
He felt that prerna would never be his and she will always be anurag's only. Because apparently he has done a lot for her......saved her a lot of times from Basus...and fought for her. But still she lied to him. Still choosed to help anurag without telling him....lied to him for anurag sake. Bajaj started ignoring her and broke their engagement. It was this time when prerna realized she has moved on over anurag as a lover.....she loved bajaj. Bajaj ignorance killed prerna....and she just wanted to be back with him by all means. Bajaj also was showing rudeness from outside......else prerna was his everything. Anurag realizes that its from both side....that he is no more there and prerna wants bajaj. He tries to talk to bajaj and concludes that bajaj loves prerna more than he ever loved her. He makes circumstances where bajaj prerna come face to face and finally they got married. And from that time.....prerna's love was bajaj...her everything was bajaj.....though she always loved anurag as a friend.
