Even I feel the same or else nothing else makes sense 😆 The non closure on the Basu past is that one thing that almost guarantees that it was a sudden decision. They gave closure to most of the things for Komolika when she was going away. This just seems like a shoddy job done on a time crunch of a week with no time for anything else.
