Loll, I still don't get how he forgot about her?? Irfaan, her own flesh and blood son came to see her after YEARS. So I can get HS wanting to give her some privacy so that she can be with her family.

But even when she was having a dispute, he literally came running to her whilst leaving his work behind. And we know how seriously he takes his job, and yet he left it for her. Then when things were finally going okay, he let her be for a while. As it is, his mind was preoccupied by Minnie running away and the kalesh that Babita created.

So again, how did he forget his mother???

Today's episode was just perfect in that sense. Yes, we had a bit of gyaan thrown at us, but it needn't be over analyzed as you said. Sometimes you really do just need to chill and let things be.

It ties in with Minnie too. Like Minnie, HS doesn't need her apologies to be over the top or extremely extravagant. All he needs is for it to be genuine and true. He may be angry with her, but he doesn't want to be. He's quick to let it go if he knows that the person before him is being truthful.

I just don't want this to become a daily thing though. If the rishta is going to evolve, I want to see some actual progress. Personally, I feel like it has to start with Babita. All the characters have grown and changed so much in the last one year while she has in most ways remained exactly the same.
