For kzk considering its cost anything between 2 to 2.5 is reqd for a good sales turnover otherwise the expenses are on mataji's head if she wants her pet project to run for 5 years.

A episodes budget generally is 7 to 8 lakhs ( INR) per day, this includes almost everything. Kzk def is more than rough estimates. No clue about the revenue but if TV ratings fall, profit goes down as simple as that. However when it comes to online bcos once a show goes off air the tv rights go the channel, they earn either ways.

It is a channels internal policy whether they need to consider television ratings or online ratings. Till date only Sony has considered both. Erica's KRPKAB and JW's Beyhadh were successful online shows but the former completed 400 plus episodes and the later 270.

The above were shut down as TV points fell below 0.5 .

Benchmark is set by the channel. Now with EK, policies are adjusted accordingly irrespective of SP, Zee or Rangu Bhaiya. Its is upto her too as Ms. Kapoor at some point of time will sit with data points.
