Babu was creepy as hell and the most interesting character in Satte Pe Satta. Hrithik would have probably done maa behen of the role so it's probably for the best that the character won't feature in the new film.

Achha? Toh Kaabil kyun ki? Pichhli baar jab Big B ka role kiya, toh Vijay Dinanath Chauhan ko Vijay Dinanath Chuha bana diya tha. You think he can do justice to something like this?

Iss scene me kya hai? Babu was not some great challenging character except for the fact that he had grey hair and light eyes. There was nothing too difficult to play. I actually found his character half baked in the film. It wud be a easy walk for Hrithik n wanted Farah to make it even more challenging and with more grey shades.

Kaabil was a well made film, he acted brilliantly and was a success. His Agneepath was praised n became a Super hit. And that was bcoz he did not try to imitate Bachchan. Karan Malhotra's lead was not Vijay Dinanath Chauhan but just Vijay. He did not want him to wear suits in a slum! Hrithik can do any role but others can never do what he does 🥳

Maybe they were asking too much for SPS rights. Anyway SPS makers plagiarized their film and got away with it. Hollywood studios pay a lot more attention to copyright infringement now so it’s wise to get the legal rights from the source only. If they went instead to Romu and then whoever owns the rights to the 7 Brides film sued it would be difficult for Farah Khan to claim she didn’t know SPS was based on 7B since it’s pretty obviously common knowledge.

I was actually looking forward to HR doing babu's role.. He would have killed it 😒
