Before I watch the episode today..just wanted to voice out a few things:

BOTH Abir and Mishti today are equally right in their own perspectives, yet they are both equally incorrect in hiding information from one another, each had their own reasons.

One important thing to note is the differences in severity of consequences of hiding their secrets. Abir’s secret of - Kunal running away on the wedding day is an ultimate gamechanger, if Mishti knew about it earlier; she would have definitely questioned Kunal’s commitment and genuinity of his ‘love’ for Kuhu. Remember Meenu had told Kunal that if Mishti gets the slightest hint that Kunal doesn’t love Kuhu, Mishti herself would stop the marriage. Meenu was exactly right, Mishti is very strong in her idea that marriage is firstly about the two individuals (100% correct). That’s why the fact that Kunal ran away from the mandap on the wedding day, is such a huge deal!It completely overrides the other events that Mishti suffered prior to that. Because according to her, Mishti only obliged to Meenu aunty’s threats and covered upher love confession, because she wanted the wedding to run smoothly. WHY? Just because she trusted kunal and believed him to LOVE KUHU just like Kuhu loves him. Despite Meenu aunty’s threat to Mishti that Kunal will not marry on her say, Mishti still gave Kunal the benefit of her doubt, as she trusted him to choose his pyar over Meenu. Now that Mishti knows the truth of Kunal wanting to divorce Kuhu and running away on the wedding day – Mishti realises allof her and Abir’s efforts have gone down the drain.

Whereas for Abir, Kunal running away only raised doubts on Kunal’sweak-mind against Meenu’s manipulation. Kunal’s letter to Abir upon running off, only explained his actions as a result of his hatred for Mishti, not because Kunal didn’t love Kuhu/or was against getting married. That’s why, Abir could not understand that for someone who claimed he will elope with Kuhu if the family doesn’t agree, he himself has now run away from the shaadi. With the evidence Abir has seen and heard his only valid explanation is Meenu has convinced/manipulated Kunal to run on the basis of Mishti’s hatred (which ispartly true). So he is quite right in trying to hide this info from Mishti, who he thinks will once again blame herself. But, Abir blindly trusts Kunal's words and behaviour so much, that when he confronted Meenu and Munna - firmly asks Kunal “Tu apne pyar keliye stand lega ya nahi?" rather than questioning whether he actually loves Kuhu or wants to get married. Kunal gave him numerous reasons to believe that Kunal agreed to marry Kuhu because he does actually loves her. This right here is Abir’s weakness. His ‘Nanko’ is his blind spot.

THIS is precisely why Mishti’s blunt honesty today, was necessary!

Right now, the most important thing for Abir to realise is his Nanko is no more a ‘nanko’, and just like Mishti is clearly trying to make him understand, that Kunal needs to learn to take responsibility for his own actions and mistakes. Yes, these mistakes may be as result of his upbringing with Meenu, but ultimately, he is now an adult who has the ability to differentiate between right and wrong, and yet Kunal has evidently chosen to comply with his mother’s orders to act and deceive Kuhu, which in turn has deceived both Abir and Mishti. THIS is what Mishti is trying to get Abir to open his eyes to and pop out of his bubble = that Kunal is equally responsible for all that has happened, not just his mum.

Ofcourse not to forget; Yes, Mishti has also hid info about Kuhu’s email fiasco,and Meenu’s blackmail…but…

When it was Mishtis turn Abhir believed her blindly.... Mishti to believes him.... But like you said there was no need for that dialogue from MISHTI where she said he broke her trust........

But I guess giving the situation we can give Mishti that.... But I think it can be forgiven........ That dialogue even I did not like

geethu actually mishti character is like that she is always on face.. and even after her constant worry on kuku, her asking him still he didnt inform her... so she got angry n said it.. but her understanding level is little less than abir.. he deals with things softly n have the patience to listen n put on hold the needed talk... which mishti lacks alot..
