Problem with basu and prerna is that they are trying to fight their destiny and fate. They want to be together but the truth is that it's NOT written in their destiny. Prerna when marrying bajaj came to this conclusion. She knows that basu is not in her destiny. If basu wasn't harassing her we could've seen prerna trying to adjust to her new life.

More than prerna it's basu the one who is unable to accept destiny. He doesn't want to move forward in life and doesn't let prerna either. He is fighting destiny even though destiny is showing him the truth. Basu can't see how destructive his behavior is to his family and himself. Other people lives are involved now. Both basu and prerna are married. This is no longer about the two of them which they don't understand.

Sometimes people who love one another are forced to marry others due to family's pressure. It feels like their whole world is snatched but overtime they go on to have a life and be happy with their new partners. That happen in some cases. In other cases it's different.

Can anyone throw some light on who is Ronit and what is his link with Shivani, Prerna and anurag?

My first episode was when RB told her he married prerna for Kuki sake and all those flashbacks which was shown.

I just know that Ronit is komo ka bhai if I'm not wrong. Komo handed over basu house papers to RB.

The irony in this is that both basu and prerna agreed to their marriages. Basu agreed to marry komolika and prerna agreed to marry bajaj. This is why bajaj and komolika are known as the iconic ones in the show because they can't be defeated. They are the ones who are the kasauti in both basu and prerna destiny. They are too smart, cunning, manipulative and undefeatable. However that doesn't change the fact that both basu and prerna made those choices on their own. If they want they could've said no but they said yes. Komolika and bajaj didn't force neither of them to say yes. They agreed to the marriage and like every marriage their spouses want to take their marriage to the next level. So in a way komolika and bajaj aren't to be blame. Basu and prerna are their own villains in their love story. And what's worse is that both married people who are smarter than them.
