If you all are taking about the Kara (the silver bracelet), then it's one of the five external articles of faith that identifies one as a Sikh. Although I haven't heard nor seen anyone do it myself, apparently anyone can wear it. You don't necessarily have to be a full Sikh to do so.

Thanks for this info. I thought it was part of his role as HS but turns out he wears it all the time. Perhaps it's because of his wife? She's Punjabi, right?

I know nothing about his wife so I'm not sure. Either way, there's nothing wrong if he does. I.e., he's not offending or mocking Sikhism by doing so.

No, no, I was just curious because it appeared suddenly and I didn't know the significance.

He’s wearing Kara since long, I have seen it in old episodes also... but it is missing in few episodes...

Correct. I think in the first few episodes HS wasn't wearing it either, so I guess it appeared as soon as Aniruddh started wearing it.

I agree it goes with HS' character, especially with those kurtas.
