The reason why everyone hated her was because she was this RANDOM character that was thrown into the plot for NO REASON and for some weird reason, Malhar trusted her above all else. She created so many MUs between them.

I think the CVS learned their lesson with that track. They changed her character pretty quickly from wanting Malhar to Sarthak. And I'm sure they saw the fan's reactions on IG.
