Funny enough she’s busy texting hs but doesn’t notice the date??? Literally no one is that immersed in their marriage that they FORGET THE DATE. She didn’t forget the date for navrati (sorry if I spelled wrong).

Do you think they’re struggling for storylines, seeing as it was meant to be a finite show and maybe they want to stretch it out because of the popularity?

I personally think this all started when they rushed the wedding! They could have shown all this, about mini being sidelined, whilst they “dated” and babita started paying him more attention

Texting HS in on Mini’s Bday.

Party was previous night. As per tradition, Babita always used to wish Mini at 12 AM sharp.

But since there was party with HS’s friends and then she had migraine, she took medicine and slept. She forgot to wish Mini at midnight.

Next morning she will be baking Cake to make it up to Mini. That’s when she is texting and smiling.

So it’s not like Mini’s Bday completely passed without anyone noticing. They will realize that today it’s her Bday. But forgot to wish at midnight.

I do think they are stretching the storyline coz of popularity.

You are welcome. It’s not as bad but for Mini, it will be since her mother forgot to wish her at midnight, a tradition they followed all these years.

They all are just finding their new roles in this new set up and I suspect they will soon (it will take anyone time to adjust when things change). It’s just the writers not necessarily portraying this in the correct way, and making hs and babita look like insensitive, selfish lovers who are neglecting mini and her needs

Exactly! And It’s not working because it goes against their basic character traits. Also, the execution is horrible.
