Even if NB was widowed a few years ago, she also needs company now, so even Irfan and Rukhsana wanted her to have companions of her age. What if Babita had never remarried? She would end up all alone in her old age too. The first couple of years of a marriage are usually challenging whether it's a first or second marriage. Hanita have to strengthen their bond otherwise they won't have a proper marriage in order to grow old together.

One more thing... I have seen this happen to widowed people quite often. When they remarry they put their spouse on a pedestal because they are so afraid of loss, they have seen the uncertainty of life so closely that they want to make every moment with their spouse meaningful.

I don't know if this is driving HS to a certain extent but it won't surprise me if it's partly true.

There's a lot of things that Minnie doesn't notice, so I'm not surprised she didn't think of this. I don't know if Minnie thinks of long term matters such as this. Right now, it's immediate matters like her grandparents' living situation.

Given the appropriate time and space, I can see Hanita having a very loving bond.

Maybe. Can't really comment on it right now. Will have to wait and see more of their scenes to make an informed one.

Mini ke wajah se they cancelled their honeymoon trip too, no. If they were such bad parents, they wouldn’t have cared that she has exams coming up, they would have gone to their honeymoon.

This was the only little bit that reminded me of old PB. That look in Irfan's eyes when he saw Minnie in the kitchen after she overheard him talking to HS, and today's look completed the circle.

And yes, not just the Khuranas but a lot of viewers are going to point fingers at Babita for wanting to be with her husband and enjoy being a wife. Ugh.

I wanted to do something nasty to Beeji for instigating Minnie and the Senior Khuranas for their poor me dialogues. Also, when Minnie wants to not think about what happened, Beeji reminds her and hurts her again.

I think Naeem Bi can best help her out with this.

And this mentality is pissing me off the most!

EXACTLY!!! How is she supposed to move on when she keeps bringing it up?? And her constant line about "kitne din rahege" made me want to book her a permanent room beside the cemetery. Jab din khatam ho jayege, shift hone mein easy rahega. 😡

That's why I found Punar Vivaah had the right message. There were kids involved and flawed main leads but they dealt with some of the issues of remarriage in a really nice way. Sure there was a lot of drama, which is normal for ITV, but they also gave a very positive message through it about second chances.
