I wouldn't call him more ruthless, he was plain insensitive to all relations including his children until prerna changed it. His actions had no reason , no backstory. Just practical in his own words. RB 2 is more complex I would say. He is more in your face dark, openly admits to trying to kill someone( he stopped at the crucial point is another matter), openly taking pleasure in Anu 's misery. But at the same time he knows how to maintain and value relations also. No need for prerna here in that regard. CVS and KSG really ought to be applauded for making a fascinating character not just better but thousand times more intriguing.

This is not the same prerna who looked excited seeing RB enter the party and then flirted with him and then looked totally besotted while he danced with her! She has had a complete personality change! The writing of this show is totally ridiculous! They are just insulting Rb in every way possible now!

I honestly feel so insulted as a RB fan! Him pining for a woman who is openly having an extra marital affair and doesn’t care two hoots about him is in such bad taste! Like should I be impressed she tended to his wounds? she had no emotion on her face, she did it because she had to! Nothing else! It was painful to watch!
