Hi guys... I wrote this OS for my dear friend and posting it here. My first post in this forum. It is mostly from Sumit's POV from yesterday's episode.

::Interlude:: OS
Sonakshi was already quite vulnerable and on verge of breaking down any second and now Sumit knew why it was. Rohit! Of course, Surgeon Rohit Sippy. He might be many things but blind isn't one of them which is why he can see Sonakshi so defeated and broken because that doctor spent months playing around with Sonakshi and suddenly he has a girlfriend - Raima. Ah, Raima. Sumit only met her once but even he was not immune to her innocence, her beauty and her persona.
He knew the moment Sonakshi isn't his Sonakshi, the one he has been working for years and it throws him off the grid. Sumit is at lost seeing his co-star so lost and defeated that even with all his tantrums she didn't bat an eye, in fact she pours her heart out in front of him. Sumit isn't stupid but again maintaining his arrogant persona he brushes her feelings with his comment. He spent years working with Sonakshi Rastogi and as actors they spent more time together than with anyone else, of course, he knows when she is Parvati and when she is Sonakshi. Though, he has learned in these years that Sonakshi might not be that apart from Parvati and deep down that contributed to his attitude towards her.
Sumit isn't mocking Sonakshi when he tells Sonakshi that she is Mata Rani's favourite and everything will be alright. He actually believes that and for the first time he let himself utter these words to her because she desperately needs to hear them today. Even for a moment Sumit is lost at his admission and then tries to go before he things even more awkward or complicated or... whatever. He tries to slip away not before reminding Sonakshi to drink the juice. Even in her heart broken state Sonakshi has noticed Sumit's behaviour and for some reason Sumit is unable to stop himself for being honest with her and he knows it's better to leave and slip back into his arrogance image outside this door.
Sumit waits for Sonakshi to get ready for shoot quite patiently and it leaves everyone on set in shock but no one dares to say a word and Sumit doesn't realises this until they begin shooting the scene and it sinks into him that he didn't slip back into his arrogance persona because he has been too busy deep down worried about Sonakshi. He doesn't dwell on this longer and brushes it aside to stay in his character.
Scene is going very well as usual until Parvati utters 'Rohit'. As Sumit turns he comes face to face with Rohit Sippy. Once again Parvati slips away and Sona is back and almost breaking apart just seeing Rohit, who seems to be man on mission. Coming in middle of their shoot, demanding, not requesting to speak to Sona privately right now. It is that moment Sumit sees Sonakshi becoming Sona, Rohit's Sona... she is surfacing and Sumit knows it will not end well. Rohit cannot have his way all the time and this time Sumit decides to intervene and for the first time he is thinking about Sonakshi and not himself.
"Doctor Rohit..." Rohit takes his eyes away from Sona to look behind her and feels irritated seeing who has interrupted him.
"Surgoen."
"Whatever, Rohit." Sumit takes steps forward and comes to step right beside Sonakshi and looks at Rohit with confidence.
"This is not your house or hospital where you can come in anytime and make demands. We are in middle of shooting. You can wait until the scene is over to speak to Sonakshi." For a moment everyone on set is left speechless to hear Sumit say that, the man himself who has stopped shooting on many occasions. It seems Sumit Khanna is on roll today to surprise everyone. Sonakshi looks at him in confusion but slightly thankful for intervention. Rohit on the other hand, is fuming at Sumit, he never liked this so called actor anyway and now he is standing beside his Sona and acting so noble.
"You! Stay out of it. Sona we need to talk." Rohit is ready to drag Sona away and she feels herself wanting to follow Rohit again but not like this. Sonakshi has been waiting for Rohit for so long, she begged, pleaded to Rohit to listen and she will make sure Rohit knows her side of her story but not like this. Not here in middle of the shoot.
Sumit holds Rohit's hand which is holding Sona's wrist and ready to bolt away and frees Sonakshi's wrist from Rohit and calmly looks at Rohit who is seething with anger.
"I will not stay out of this. You want to talk. Fine. Wait here, or outside, I don't care. We are going to finish the shoot and once Sonakshi is free, if she willing she will talk to you but you will not force her out of this shoot. Not right now."
"You.." Rohit unable to understand why is he getting involve in this is almost ready to his Sumit at this point when Sona intervenes.
"Rohit." Her voice is breaking and it breaks Rohit's heart and he wants to heal that. Heal her pain and his pain but for some reason Sumit is getting in way.
"Sonak..."
"Rohit please. Sumit is right. We will talk after the shoot." This is killing Rohit but when Sona pleads to him, reluctantly he agrees and moves aside to far end of corner and stands there. Rohit has decided he will not leave without talking to his Sona and no one will come in between them today. So he waits.
They resume shooting scene between Kunal and Parvati and the irony of the scene, how it resembles to their current situation. One thing doesn't go without notice from Rohit's eyes is Sumit. Rohit is unable to understand how Sumit stood up to Rohit today and throughout the scene Rohit is unable to deny the look of concern Sumit had for Sonakshi and it leaves Rohit restless, he doesn't understand what is Sumit upto now. But it doesn't matter because he will not let anyone come between him and Sona, no matter who it is. No Raima or Sumit will come between them now. Rohit has decided that and for once he feels a peace within him, so he stands there and waits patiently to speak to his Sona.
