This might not be a popular opinion but for once, I think he was right to put things into perspective for both mother and daughter. Ashok didn't physically remove them but they were rendered homeless because of him in a way.

They both have high expectations of him in the role of a father and he put it out there, that look I am not like your father. I will not be like him, but I will not be fit into a mold that you both think I should be locked into. Things don't work like that.

All those punching bag dialogues were coming to mind.

Minnie and Babita both will take his words at face value and totally miss the point of what he was trying to tell them. When Minnie hugged her grandparents she tried to smile and say he didn't mean it while taking his words to heart, whereas in fact when she learns to understand what he's doing here, she will realize he did not in fact mean it in the way she took it.

I think Minnie's struggling with the fact that she won't be babied anymore because she's being expected to act responsibly and not get away with doing whatever she feels like. That's what the whole truck scene was about.

Even with Babita and what all she said in the mix, he shouldn't have vented all of that out on Minnie. It's absolutely unfair. This HS 2.0 (after CD incident HS) is not worthy of being a parent to Minnie.

I think HS and Minnie need to deal with each other the way they want to and not the way Babita or anyone else wants or expects them to. Half the problems will be solved that way.

Babes is messed up, but HS is Parents DO say that when they are angry, but I don't relate to his making a point. Sorry, but that's pretty wrong to say, you need to be thankful for the favour your Mother has done. Sorry, her mother hasn't done her any favours by being a mother. And Ashok did NOT kick Mini out even if he behaved badly with her later, they chose to move out coz they didn't have a place there. And what is with Babita conveniently leaving out the part when she compared Mini to Meeta? As far as I can see, that's what she's most hurt about even after she came back. And what bado Ka lihaz. If elders can't keep up with how mature and how respectful they need to be, and she can question if her daughter is being infidel and cheating her best friend after knowing how she feels about infidelity. Where is the lihaaz? Out of ALL the things a mother can say to a daughter, she asks her THAT and she's disrespected her own self, khudka koi lihaz Nahi, and now, she selectively ignores that bit. How disgusting, Babita.

HS is not fully desecrated according to me, but if he's pissed with Babita, he can't take it out on Mini, coz he's hell bent on being a great husband. And that's such a shitty thing to say. This is our house, and we have kept you here. Every parent can say that! A lot of parents say it. But he's a step dad. Things are weird. Awkward. And he can't say shit like that. She would never feel at home.

Until the marriage, it was Mini and Babita renting at HS' house. And now. After the marriage, Babita is part of HS' house, but Mini is being kept there coz she's the unwanted daughter? He may not have felt it but he said it to prove it to Babita. And this echoes with what Kammo said that day about gaai and bachda, at least that's how Mini would feel.

And after such a huge kaand, what's with this seeds and plants they are talking? They need to sit with each other, all three of them sit down and talk it out! Saying who wants what can be achieved, and what expectations are unrealistic. Babita need not make him a Dad. They already share a great bond. And, Mini can tell him, about how hurt she was about the proofs. And how alone she feels. To be honest, I feel Mini and HS should talk it out. Coz both seem to be a victim of Babita's horrible sense of family.

Don't push your luck so much to prove a point that there might not be a next time.

@bold

And this should remind HS why he should handle Minnie the way he thinks is right and not listen to anyone else's demands in this regard.

Today's episode title is so stupid - "Minnie decided to survive " 😔 .This victimizing Minnie is so overdone now that they are making Hanita looking bad in all this

This look sums up the entire episode for me. I think it was bloody brilliant what the CVs did in this episode. I can't believe I'm saying this but after ages things made sense.

They're not. That's the entire issue. They're not talking the way they used to. We've not had a single scene of HS coming home from work and Minnie just talking non stop all around him.

The entire essence and foundation of Hannie has been altered. If they don't talk, Babes will get restless and move in to try and make things better. It's another story that she ends up making everything worse.

Mini hurt being called Meeta... Understandable

Mini's talks about being a survivor actually had me rolling my eyes

Ghoom phir k we again talk about Babita's ego.. Excellent! Its like all the characters have this one tangent on which they can always blame all the problems.. Babita's ego.. They never feel the need to reflect any further

Babita did consider Hanuman to be Mini's father till the point that Hanuman became all distant to Mini post wedding.. Doubts would undoubtedly creep in given the way his and Mini's relationship has been post wedding.. Hanuman was not handling things his own way.. He was not handling things at all.. This pressure has been taken on by Hanuman himself by falsely calling himself Mini's father to appease Babita (His words)

Fathers scold.. Thats completely ordinary.. What Hanuman did was not scolding as a father but making a point to Babita which is why it was wrong.. Mini deserved a scolding for whatever she did and said and if it was pre wedding Hanuman, he would have still scolded Mini but not to show Babita what she had asked for..

The distance between Mini and Babita is because Babita has started speaking her own mind and Mini is unable to accept that

Babita did not tell Hanuman what she told Mini.. Wrong.. But then they shifted the focus of their conversation to Hanuman's role as father that it is hardly surprising

@bold this is ironic, right?

She wanted to see her mother make her own decisions, but when Babita has started to do something that contradicts what Minnie wants, she is concerned that her mother is no longer the same person. So yes, she has to deal with it.

His point wasn't who was right or wrong. His point was that being rude to your parents is not acceptable no matter what they say. It's the same thing he had told her before, that no matter what Babita did, she couldn't behave badly with her.

The other side is for Babita to learn, that what she did was wrong, and even the way she failed to acknowledge her mistake when Minnie returned was also wrong. God knows if HS can get this through to her that yelling at Minnie or slapping her is not the solution, no matter what the subject matter is. I also suspect he gave her a demo to make her see what she must have looked like when yelling at Minnie earlier. I remember him once telling Babita that she was too harsh with Minnie. Now I don't know if she got the message or not, but HS was trying to make her see what Lala was saying earlier on.

I don't think he's in a good spot right now after yelling at Minnie. He needs a break from this madhouse.

No there is a certain line which both parents and children cannot cross with each other. Babita crossed the line that day.

@ bold you think babita has the mind to understand subtle hints from him
