It can be as straightforward as Dadi doing it but it was her box, why would she risk it? The intention was not to kill Razia as they woke up everyone.

Possible and maybe she was the one responsible for 2nd marriage of Azaan's father, something was odd with Razia's father in law asking his son to leave and he left without a fight, when you can see how Asgar and Suraiya fought to stay
