Thank you! 😳 This show has brought many people back to IF. I also logged back after 6 years after getting hooked to this show.

Epi 83: 8 October, 2019

1. These two and their conversations. Sona understands Raima's situation and asks Rohit to reconsider telling Raima the truth about his relationship status with Sona. An FL who is samajhdaar and not unnecessarily mahaan. I loved the fact that she stated her opinion and then left the final decision on Rohit because she truly understands that Raima's recovery is Rohit's priority. She is ready to help him in whatever way she can, letting him know what she thinks is right, but is not forcing decisions on him.

2. Finally kisi ko toh ruki huyi shooting ki yaad aayi! Oh, now we know ki shooting ke liye itni der se koi kyu nahi bulane aaya. Sumit already chala gaya toh shoot cancel. So Netra ji must have thought ki ab Sona-Rohit ko baat hi karne dete hain. I don't know why this line cracked me up: "tum meri heroine ko bhagakar yahan le aaye."

3. Netra ji is holding Rohit accountable for the day's loss by giving him a bill of 20 lakhs. (Just wondering, itne paise lagte honge kya ek din ki shooting mein?) Good they included this scene and didn't forget that Rohit had said that he will compensate for the loss.

4. The Sindhi in Rohit is so happy on getting discount of 20 lakhs. This Sindhi thing makes an appearance every few episodes. The little side hug was cute.

5. Netra ji is making an appearance maybe once or twice per week now, but her basic traits still come through - a producer who doesn't let anybody take her show for granted, but cares deeply for her friend Sona at the same time.

6. Why is Ajit calling Ravi again and again when he wants to talk to Rohit? Or did Rohit leave his phone in the car? Kuchh samajh nahi aaya.

7. Raima has gone missing. Good thing is the Sippys have not been just sitting ducks while they waited for Rohit to arrive. Tanya and Akash have already started looking for Raima.

8. Raima hasn't learnt anything even after the incident that happened to her. She just left alone again. She is obviously distraught but why would she not think of going directly to her mother in such a scenario? Aur oxygen cylinder chhodke jaane ka kya logic h, other than just to create more drama for people looking for her?

9. YK is a smart man and definitely knows what his mother is capable of doing. That's why he goes directly to her and questions her regarding what she said to Raima. And then told her in clear words that she has no right in interfering in the lives of Sippy family as she's just a guest. YK always stands up for what he thinks is right, even if that means he's standing against his mother, or even Nishi in previous instances.

10. I seriously don't understand the stand of Raima's mom. She went to extreme lengths of chaging cities and even changing her daughter's name on hospital records, just so that Rohit never gets to meet Raima. Then she allowed Raima to stay in Rohit's home. Also, when did anybody tell her about Raima's side of story for 26 Sept. Her daughter clearly didn't have the time to talk to her. How is she suddenly blaming Sonakshi for her comatose state and not Rohit for the failed surgery. I'm completely confused with this character.

11. Rohit takes a stand for Sona and tells Raima's mom that Sonakshi is not at fault for anything. I'm just waiting for a similar confrontation to happen with Naren.

12. Sona doesn't care about Raima's mom and her stupid allegations. Instead of getting sidetracked, she's focused on the issue at hand.

14. Why was there a need for reactivation of Raima's phone number. It was already active right, just the phone was always kept switched off. That college friend of Rohit's did pick up his call once and he then was able to trace Raima's location to Pune.

15. Raima read Rohit's message. When Rohit was shown sending that message to Raima, I had thought that was a way to tell the audience that Rohit has moved on from Raima. I didn't think then that this would be used this way. Also, didn't think that Raima would read the message this soon. This show just doesn't stretch tracks. But really felt bad for Raima today.

16. Raima used to call Rohit "monkey". Lol, idhar se ushar toh khud koodti phirti hai Raima. They didn't have to add this detail, and nobody would have cared, but these small details make the characters and story more believable.

17. Sippy family always comes together as a team whenever required. Everybody is doing their part and using their connections in order to find out about Raima.

18. Rohan Pari and their disgusting drama disgracing my screen again. Felt really bad for Tanya today, she is with the family, going to look out for Raima, and taking care of Raima's mom and Veena. And Rohan is out getting massage with Pari.

19. Poora Mumbai chhaan maara Raima ko dhoondte huye inn logon ne. I could identify CST and Mumbai airport from the visuals. Nice touch.

20. YK bumped into Rohan outside the spa. I want to thank YK for the second time today. He saved us from Rohan-Pari torture. Also, "ghar pe siyappa ho gya h."-the only time he seems like Siyappa aunty's son, by virtue of using the same vocab.

21. Rohit is blaming himself for everything. He's clearly worried but is handling everything very nicely and responsibly this time. I'm sure nobody would want a repeat of 26 Sept Rohit again.

22. Just loved how Rohit and Sona acted like a team today. Rohit sends her home and calmly explains that he'd have to go meet Raima alone. Sonakshi is being the support system and helping him stay grounded. They are constantly in touch - loved their whole dynamic today.

23. They did do a police complaint like normal people would do. At least that's what I gathered when Deepa told Akash ki 24 hours lagenge. 24 hours missing report mein hi lagte hain na.

25. Deepa was already suspecting Rohan, after today, even if she doesn't see Pari, she'll be sure that Rohan is cheating on Tanya.

26. Raima's father is a big mystery man. He sends tickets, arranges air ambulances and talks on the phone. But doesn't visit his daughter when she starts reacting after a four year long coma. Raima also didn't ask about him even once.

27. Rohit really shined as a considerate person today. He took care of his mom like everybody would expect him to. But immediately after he looked at Raima's mom and no matter how irritating he finds her, in that moment she was a mother whose daughter is missing, and thus made sure she's looked after.

28. Suman really has whole-heartedly accepted Rohit. She really only had issues with Nishi, and now most probably with Naren as well, but she does knows how to compartmentalize her anger and not let it affect her daughter's happiness. She really seems to have changed for the better.

29. Finally Sona puts all the pieces together and realises that Raima is at Sumit's place. We were initially thinking that Sona would be able to figure all that out just by knowing that Raima sat in a blue Mercedes. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. Sona isn't KPK's part time bahu part time detective. She reached a conclusion only after she had enough data points to figure that out.

Haven't watched the episode yet, but I LOVED your Originality take. I like reading the KPK-1 posts more than the original ones, maybe because this show has more originality than most other shows, so it is nice to find the places when it is NOT so original. 🤗

I guess Raima's dad is an augmented reality. He exist only in the virtual world 🤣🤣 Kidding 🤣

Raina’s dad will certainly be the next raaz and create mess. Suddenly he comes up in every episode.

We are in the same boat, I also don't know what to think of it! 😆Guess I'll know only after I start making the post in a few hours. At the moment I'm sure of only one thing - KVG is a damn good actor.

Epi 84: 9 October, 2019

1. Rohit Sippy has watched Bollywood movies at least from the 90s. Pehle DDLJ and now Dil Toh Paagal Hai. When he mentioned Kareena Kapoor, for a second I thought I must've heard the wrong movie name. When YK corrected him, I knew I had heard right!

2. Rohit is right, "ye koi timing hai yaar, aisa goof up kaun karta h". Aisa goof up TV ke bhagwan, i.e. show ke writers karte hain.

3. "Mujhe lagne laga hai main khud kisi TV serial ki heroine hu. Baat baat pe rone lagta hu." Such dialogues show that the makers know what they are doing, I just hope they also know that we don't watch KHKT to watch Rohit turning into a TV serial heroine.

4. Rohit and YK have always been shown sharing a great bond. YK was also shown discussing his problems with Rohit when he had said that Pooja isn't his daughter in anger, and today Rohit is discussing his problems with him.

5. Why didn't YK question Rohit on why did he say that Sona was only his fake GF? I thought that nobody brought it up in yesterday's episode because everybody was panicking about Raima, but today Rohit clearly mentioned that he loves Sona. I am still angry with Rohit for that mess, how can Sippy family and the writers just forget about it like that? However silly the explanation is, I want it.

6. Finally Deepa knows about Rohan Pari. I didn't think this will happen this soon. If it was KPK, there would've been a few more hit and miss before the actual big reveal. Now at least one sane person knows. Pari got slapped. This is only the second one, she needs more of those.

7. Sona found Raima at Sumit's house. Raima ka theek h, she was leisurely sipping tea and having apples, while everybody else was running all over the city looking for her. Also, they didn't actually show us any part of Sona and Raima's conversation before Rohit arrived. Usual ITV viewing mind says there is something fishy there. I hope I'm wrong.

8. Naren and his so called image. Somebody should tell Veena Sippy that it seems like Rohan has taken more after his father than Rohit. Naren ka toh koi bhi logic mujhe samajh nahi aata. Agar Sona, for whatever baseless reasons, pasand nahi h toh how does he know Raima is any good? He didn't even know someone named Raima existed till a few months ago.

9. Sumit is being such a gracious host. The way he welcomed Rohit, "please, aaiye." His real name is Maninder Singh. "Industry mein chalta hai Kapoor Khanna isliye badal liya, dobara mat poochhna" He is the much needed comic relief in the episode.

10. Rohit stopped Sona from leaving since he wanted her to be present as well when they talked to Raima. After all, it does affect the three of them. He also asked Raima to talk so that they can reach a conclusion as running from the situation will not be the answer. He has started behaving sensibly again.

11. Raima and her drama. She really is as hyper as Rohit has always described her. She is affected by the fact that Rohit has moved on, but is more irked by the fact that he has moved on with the same person who she holds responsible for her condition. I absolutely get the reasoning behind the outburst. But shouldn't losing four years of her life tragically lead to a growth in her maturity level? I just didn't expect such antics from a girl who recovered from a coma just 40-48 hours ago.

12. Sumit's expressions were of real concern the whole time Raima was up on the bed with knife in her hand. And then he used his presence of mind to take the knife away from her.

13. Rohit locked Raima in the cupboard. Rohit is now a pro in using this tactic. "Kat ke maro usse accha h ghut ke mar jao". Is he serious? The way Raima said "Haan Rohit, main shant hu." Lol, cracked me up.

14. Rohit finally made Raima to listen to Sona's side of the story. "Beech mein kuchh bola, tantrum throw kie ya pair patke toh thappad marunga main." And then Raima mumbles something. Now I totally get the bro-sis or father-daughter vibes from these two.

15. What are these Pari and Rohan even. They know that Deepa knows the truth now, and none of them care about the consequences at all? How is it even possible? Do they even care that their nautanki won't stay hidden from their families forever?

17. Sonakshi, what did you do? Why, why would she act all mahaan now. I was so happy yesterday that Rohit and Sona are not acting sacrificial for Raima's sake. But she went today and took that happiness from me. "Rohit sirf tumahara hai aur tumhara hi rahega." Yes, Rohit is a thing, keep gifting it to each other. Why, did she have to do this?

21. This is not the first or last time I'm saying this, but KVG is such a brilliant actor. He emoted all the shock, pain and heartbreak, without any dialogues or props whatsoever. He is so damn good.

22. Another one for Deepak Sandhu, who plays Sumit Khanna. His expressions and one liners added humor to the otherwise very loaded and tense episode. I don't know if any of you watched Colors show Parichay, par mujhe toh aaj Vikram ki yaad aa gayi.

23. Rohit's small gestures for Sona speak a lot. The way he kept a hand on Sona's shoulder when Raima was blaming Sona for her condition with the knife in her hand, and the small apologetic look he gave her when Raima wouldn't accept the nasal pipe from her. And when he said "Khud se bhi zyaada yakeen karta hu."

25. The one thing which is working for this show at this moment, for me at least, is the pace and the fact that they don't drag tracks for weeks and months. Otherwise the way they've made Rohit and Sonakshi both act like typical ITV leads is very disheartening for me. The only reason I'll come back tomorrow, or the reason I watched last week, is because I know all this will be resolved by Friday's episode for sure. Show ki timeline ke hisaab se it's only 27 Sept. So Raima will hopefully stop being a spoilsport in our story on 27th Sept itself. So, all this 26 sitambar ka raaz will wind up in just 24 hours of the show's timeline, and I'm thankful for that.
