Shehnaz, dumb blond, Koena, the assured woman + random musings

Shehnaz seems to be the quintessential dumb blond excuse me for the sexist term, unfortunately most languages are sexist and have hence coined such terms.

And unfortunately once again just as men in general dig dumb blonds as they pose no threat to them and they can feel superior and get an ego boost, men in the Bigg Boss house too seem to dig her for the same reasons. And what is scary is that the women of the BB house also seem to kind of put up with her because they wrongly believe that she is so dumb that she is no threat to them.

In stark contrast, we have a Koena, who is so assured in herself that she never minces her words, calls a spade a spade in your face and will probably end up intimidating both men and women alike because plainspeak and self-assurance unfortunately intimidate people.

Personally, I am finding Shehnaz more and more difficult to stomach. her voice, her looks, her way of talking, her dumbness contrived or otherwise cuts no ice with me and I find all this rankling as hell Grrrrrrrr!!!

As a strong plainspeaking woman myself I feel for Koena..

Apart from these two contrasts, the others seem to be in various shades and degrees of fakeness, fragility, etc. and don't impress me as of now as they all seem pale. Shefali hasnt impressed me thus far even though she is being projected as someone strong, I don;t feel so.

As for the others the lesser said the better. Rashmi seems dumb and weak and confused, Devoleena is not even noticeable, Siddharth Dey creeps me out + I find him plain ugly, Aseem seems like the male equivalent of Shehnaz the dumb blond, I dont care for Casanovas and cheap roadside Romeos and therefore for Paras, Abu leaves me cold, so does Mahira, Daljeet is not even noticeable, Aarti seems to have something in her, a lot of angst but hasn't made a mark on me yet and I quite like Siddharth Shukla. Hope I have covered all.

Well Salman seems to have a soft spot for his Punjabi Katrina Kaif! YUCK!!!!

Koena is a strong woman but she is not self assured because with all that plastic surgery, she seems insecure but I still like her though. Shehnaz is mentally off, not just dumb because she seems lost most of the time. I think she's going to be the one having mental break down in the show. So far I see Shefali as self assured woman who stood by herself whenever wanted devo to be the queen, she wanted to be the queen.

Its a bitter truth of the society (mostly indian) that men prefer dumb naive kind of women over smart intimidating ones ..they are easier to control and manipulate and shehnaaz is the top example of that ..i dont know how much of it is an act and how much is real but every time she opens her mouth she just proves how dumb she actually is..her innocent act works only on men like paras and sid dey who have weird fantasies..Koena on the other hand is emotionally mentally mature ..people can judge her all they want for her botched nose job ..but the fact that she never use it as an excuse to garner sympathy or whatever is frankly amazing because she must have been through hell and back after that.. she holds her ground and speaks her mind..i would honestly be embarassed to associate myself with a girl like shehnaaz ..

I don't find Shehnaz entertaining or cute or funny! She hams a lot in the process of trying to come across as adorable. She screams, shouts and especially after seeing her performance in the task where she had to make Rashmi get off the wheelchair, I also believe she is a wacko! I am glad Devoleena called her out for supporting that creepy writer guy.

I also wonder why Salman never questioned her for joking about the writer touching her inappropriately. That's some really low grade humor if that's her idea of a joke.

Well what's I strongly disagree with your thoughts on Shahnaaz and Koena.

I think you have said too much which was not necessary. No offense. I found Salman conversation with Shahnaaz funny and at least entertaining than the other stupid stuff which goes in the show.

I find Shahnaaz different than others. Why everybody wants to see smart or clever cunning or Devi type or stand taking type of woman or man in the house? What's new in that? NOTHING!!🤔 Just because you want to you associate yourself with some of their traits, that's why you want to see these traits in these people. (Said in general)

For once, give a chance to Shahnaz. She's different than others. I think she acts naive and dumb but she is not definitely. It's her strategy and I like that. If she goes far with this, then why not. I liked when she told Hina today that "I want to win too but har baat jatayi nahi jaati na" which clears She's no dumb and has a game in her mind. At least she has a personality which is noticeable other than those bahus rashmi, Devoleena or Arti or Daljit. They're plain boring and mundane. 😂😒

I don't say that whatever Shahnaaz says or said was right, no I don't support that. I have said this in multiple posts of mine. But I support the entertainment shahnaz provides with her antics and I watch Bigg Boss for entertainment and not for searching some perfect person to support. 😏

If Shahnaaz entertains me or her personality or antics, whether it's by flirting with Paras or acting dumb or naive or possessive, then I will definitely support her.

Coming to Koena, She's mature but I think she is not fully being herself. She needs to open herself a bit more.

I find her cheap. Koi dumb vumb nahi hai, she is eda ban ke peda khane wali chalaak types.

Don't know about shehnaz, looks like that's her game plan and she is going all out on it. Nothing wrong in it but I personally don't like it .

BB doesn't like headstrong unapologetic women and men unfortunately do not support them either. This is the state in Indian society.

Koena won't win coz she is not part of BB's s script .

This shahnaaz character reminds me of surbhi from last season, unnecessary drama they'll bring to the show. On the task, she suppose to make rashmi get up from her chair, all she did was crying on the floor like a baby saying get up, the most annoying voice ever. The reason why all the house mate guys are supporting shahnaaz is because they know she's not a threat to them.

I really dislike Shehnaz a lot 😆 Even Shefali is way better than her 😆 I find Shehnaz too fake, I don't find her innocent at all!

Koena is the dark horse of this season for me so far, I m loving her personality and she is really sensible.

before Sid Shukla n Koena.. others do look pale.. So far ..these two are bringing originality, simplicity, natural leadership, commanding presence..doosre contestants may see it as bossy/style/arrogance/bathameez... but these two are in a class of their own..

I just commented on some other thread that Shenaz is similar to Surabhi Rana... all innocent before Salman.. multiple personalities..underneath cuteness/dumbness.. kuch tho fishy hai..

Shefali -- unknown.. now holding on to Shukla ji angle for her 15 minute fame..to come to limelight..Shefali is quite irritating character..

Arthi-- may play well if she analyzes.. but she already changed her point of views about tasks, Shefali, n other things multiple times based on wkend feedback..

doosre contestants all stuck in some ridiculous connection game..
