They could hold auditions for it, the character is an american pakistani and is a teenager so a new young actress that is American pakistani can get the role, it doesnt have to be a current pakistani actress

But then there is no problem with indians and pakistanis playing the same roles onscreen, they look similar so an indian actress playing a Pakistani or a pakistani playing an indian is no problem

There are so many Pakistani dramas, there definitely would be one. I think the girl who played Sirdevi's daughter in MOM could be a good fit

on serious note, Ideally it should be a pakistani playing that character......but since they would want to target huge number of Indian fans and market, they might cast her.......
