'Jab mai karun gi' Syndrome

It was all started with Arti's discussion with Paras which caught my attention but I shrugged it off as one-time thing. Here are few convos from the same "jab mai karun gi" syndrome:

1. Arti to Paras: Jo meri or tumhari dosti hogi na wesi tumhari kisi ke sath nahi hogi.

Why do you feel the need to tell Paras that what an exceptional friend (or girlfriend may be) you are?

2. Shehnaz in front of Paras: Jab Iška or mera koi romantic scene hoga na to jo mai kahoon gi yeh wohi karey ga.

Sweetheart, you can't claim this even about Sid D and you are bragging about a self-proclaimed playboy.

3. Mahira to Paras: Jab mai kisi ke sath kuch karun gi na to TRP aisey uper jayegi. Mujhey kerna nahi hai lekin agar mai karun gi to.

Err. Why? Why? I mean seriously why? Why do they all feel the need to brag about their sexual prowesses to Paras? Are they all insecure about their sexual identity? Why do all of them need sexual validation from Paras?
