according to me P and A are in love with the idea of being together. They have been deprived of that togetherness so much that they fail to see or realise anything beyond the idea of what ifs or their supposed destiny.

Practically they are very incompatible but the push towards that sole idea of a happily ever after with each other has just blinded them.
