He tried to do some good, but he didn't realize that these people don't deserve his kindness. Imagine how he'll feel if he ever finds out what Beeji really thinks of him? The kind of words she used for him as a father and how he treats his own Veer Balika?

And that's why I'm saying Mickey is the only sensible one thus far. He's close to the situation but not so close that he'll be blinded by emotions. He has the ability to step back and analyze things in a cool and objective manner. Something that even HS stumbles with at times.

There is one thing though. Staying at the Haveli will give him a first hand look at just how messed up everything really is. It'll be curious to see if he ever comments about it.

I know his words hurt her, but did he really lose that place so easily? Was it that simple for her?

This means that they can never be father-daughter. She doesn't share things about herself with him anymore, does she? How will he ever bridge this gap? Woh to karte karte thak jayega, andar se khaali ho jayega.

I am now thinking about Beeji's words in a different way. Seen from Minnie's perspective, if indeed she considered HS her real father (whatever that means) his words would not have affected her to the extent that she stops trusting him completely or loses respect for him.

He will have to make a major sacrifice and only then Minnie will realize his worth.
