Yes loosing sadia is his biggest regret and punishment but keeping zubi in his life and then he always in mind comparing both zubi and sadia will add to his punishment.

Umair is unpredictable maybe that's why I always found him more dangerous than anyone else in the story. Maybe yes writer like you said had a image of him and stuck to his character throughout the story and that's why his redemption scenes are coming out better. I am super confused about zubi. They make her look cunning still and pairing her with ahmer in the end will kill the charm of ahmer character too. I feel ahmer in last few weeks was shown in a much better light but all will go a waste if he accepts zubi. If she was really sorry then she would do the right things now not blackmail him using a knife

.I want sadia to know zubi truth. Sadia seems to be running away from accepting her pyari sisters reality.

zoobie I think writers don't want to fully redeem,as she is shown as incapable of empathizing with anyone else except herself.Though Ahmer may forgive her. Ahmer has done nothing for Sadia,I dont want him to at this point.

Sadia needs to know about her sister..

the only reason i felt he deserved another chance was because he still showed care for sadia even before he knew the truth

It's silly that ahmer claimed that he will help sadia but he actually did nothing much. I mean he went to see aaliya and then tried to speak to umair twice, that's it. I know I don't want him to interfere but why they make him say things which hold not much relevance in story. Even for zubi he said a paper is not her punishment but in final episode will forgive and accept her.

Umair was still meeting zubi post nikaah with Sadia so he didn't think it was forbidden.

The rape part wasn't bad editing bec they had sadia accuse him next day

See even if he remembered the rape he could still accuse Sadia Bec he would say she was already pregnant when he married her. So maybe writer tried to show that he doesn't remember rape so he doesn't think he had a physical relationship with her so his anger is legitimate. I don't know

Writer has been he'll bent on showing sadia being forced for everything in the story. Now she forgiving him or not should be solely her choice and wish.

I know I liked the mall scene when he was concerned for her, sadia didn't want his interference. He went behind them when umair dragged her out Bec he was worried for her

I agree sana the rape scene should have been highlighted but they ignored. Maybe from the writers point of view they have shown umair apologise for it in the first apology scene and sadia did forgive him that time so they feel no need to dwell on it again but for the viewer like me it left a bad taste.

Basically first sorry k time usne aaliya ko kaha tha k sadia jo Bol rahi hai wo sach hai,than aaliya asked me kya matalab samjhu Iska ,than dialogues mute kar diye the only BG play tha ,than umair said mujhe apna aap gandaa lag raha hai ,it means usne aaliya ko bataya rape ka ,,basically pak show me is tarah k topic and lines ko clearly nahi show karte ...and waise bhi ek beta apne mother ko bata raha hai k usne nashe me apni wife ka rape Kia tha ye show me Dekhna uncomfortable hai ..so bas us ek line MUJHE GANDAAA LAG RAHA HAI APNA AAP se director ne show Kara diya k umair ne ye baat accept kar lee hai and sorry kaha hai

Than sadia ko jab room me lekar aata hai umair that time he said me tumhre sawaalo ki sharmindgi seh nahi paauga,,again he talking about rape and than phir umair k dialogues mute kar diye so sadia se bhi usne maafi maangi he but Hume ye sahi clear nahi hua b/c director ne bahot decently and family me dekhte time uncomfortableness feel na ho isliye short me umair k maafi scene ko direct Kiya.
