Abir's Baba is emotionally manipulative and a coward.

He did not return for Abir. He returned to have a sense of purpose in his life because his existence is basically defined by his son. Irrespective of whether he is guilty or innocent, Mehul simply lacks character.

You can have a shit load of life philosophies but ultimately how you conduct your life is what really defines you and creates your identity as a person. Mehul might not have done any fraud but he is such a coward and such an asshole that despite of him running away, he feels he is entitled to getting to know his sons and be with them. If your family mattered all so much to you then why didn't you fight tooth and nail to prove your innocence. And when you were never really able to fight to be there for your children when they were kids, what gives you the right to think that you should be with them now when they are adults.

I particularly feel enraged whenever he tries to pose as a father to Kunal and expects that Kunal accepts him and embraces him simply because he happens to be his biological father. Like puhleaseeee, you have no right whatsoever to expect or demand that love, affection or respect from Kunal when you were never really able to there to fulfill the fatherly duties for him.

I am truly glad that Meenakshi did not have to spend her life being with such a spineless man who basically did nothing to earn the love and respect of relationships he poses to be so entitled to.

He was locked up later on. On being considered guilty he first ran away. Come to think of it one who really wants to do something to help himself/herself would have found out a way. Resigning to circumstances is very easy.

Parul is also a mother to Kunal but yet willing to hide that one truth for life. For her own selfish motive of seeing Kunal address her or accept her as mother she is not willing to out a secret which could prove deterimental to her child's self-esteem and identity.

And look at the audacity. He was able to be with his son or even have a house to stay in only because of Meenu and yet he was trying to get back to her by saying that he would out her secret to Abir, that she got him kidnapped. LOL yeah go on tell Abir, it's not as if Abir is relenting all so much now that he would then.

I really don’t think he is Kunal’s Father .. he feels he is seeing Kunal is meenu’s Son .. he looks remarkably cool with Parul .. he should have been flustered seeing A woman who u cheated with cohabiting with your wife’s family ..

If he is relaxed with Parul the immaculate conception of Kunal is extremely dicey .. he owes no explanation to Kunal ..

In fact he should question meenu on what grounds has she labelled Kunal as his Son .. abir should question his mom that u let go off your Husband deprived your child of Father to please your Father and your Friend

Playing happy families with Kunal and Parul at the expense of your dad ..

Even maheshwari should question on what grounds did they get Kunal married of to kuhu by hiding such a big truth

I am keeping my opinions on baba reserved at the moment but yes I do agree with Kunal's reactions here... whatever it is Abir still has some fade memories, Kunal has none...for him , Meenu has been his mother and father and suddenly if someone enters and demands love and affection like that... definitely one will not respond in a pleasant manner... right now Mehul has no evidence to prove himself innocent

.let's see

Today in my understanding Parul said if truth comes out they are step brothers and not real brothers. So i guess BABA is a CAD

Does anyone remember when Kunal took off before marrying Kuhu, they accused him of running away like his father? Now remember Parul’s reaction, she was ademant that Kunal father is not some cheap runaway man ... she said Kunal is not like that and his father did not run away ... to me that suggests that she was insulted that they were referring him to the actions of Mehrul ( Abir father) .

From that I gathered that Kunal real father is some other man, maybe he died and his family didn’t accept her so Meenu kept her with the family . And maybe being a servant didn’t want her child to be raised as a child of a servant and allowed Meenu to raise Kunal.

Another observation.

🤔 The flash back Meenu had when Abir was younger and asking for his father. Abir pushed his mother Meenu. We see Parul in the background, and to me she looked very pregnant???

Does that mean Grandpa and Uncle also know Kunal is not Meenu son🤷🏽‍♀️.

I expected upon his return for him to looked shocked seeing Parul there ... if In fact she was the souten (mistress) or at least trying to speak with her. We see no reaction or acknowledgement. So another reason I don’t believe Kunal to be his son.

I think the true mystery behind Kunals background is that he is from a lower caste servant family . How Parul carries herself and tattoo markings are usually that of a pious small village person . The fact they talk down to her gives me the insight she’s from a lower caste .

So another scandal would be if Mehrul “informs “ that he is not Kunal’s father , that would lead Kunal Down such a path of discovery.

I can see it now #Hashtag Kuhu is married to a servants son and not the true heir 😂😂😂

I still think we need more information and back story before we jump to conclusions about Abir's Baba. For one we know that he couldn't return to Rajkot due to the opened cases against him which recently got disbanded. For another we also know through Ben Baa's dialogue that even before this Baba did try to reach out to Abir but somehow she made him lose that time. I do blame him for running away though and in that aspect I do agree with Kunal that if you are innocent instead of running away you should fight for your right but I guess Abir's Baba very much like Abir and even Kunal to some extent are shown as people who prefer to run away rather than face the music. Kunal's reaction is completely justified because he never got the chance to know Mehul so he is going to b a bit skeptical about his presence. I wish instead of overdose of useless Kuhu's scenes we could get Kunal's monologue on how he feels about the current scenario . What I absolutely hate about both BB and Mehul is that they are using their own son like a ping pong ball they just want to prove a point to each other and Abir is just collateral damage. To some extent I do agree with Abir as well that he needs time to form an opinion about his father I am glad that he admitted that there could be a chance that his father is wrong its just BB and co haven't handled this issue properly. Instead of planning and plotting BB and Nanu should try to have an honest conversation with Abir. For now I am reserving my judgement about Mehul.

P.S Kunal isn't Mehul's son that thing is for sure

Thank you and congratulations on making this post.

The man has some guts. I mean who sets up a mandir in the guest room!

I dont even want to get started on how he has been thrust forcibly upon Bigben, Parul, Nanu and Koslu
