Apart from all of the above, I think she's finally becoming a teenager. The rebellion, the feeling that her parents wouldn't understand her, the stress thinking that they're dealing with the worst problems possible (though in her case, maybe she is...)

Then again, last time HS sided with her mother and asked her not to meet Dadu Beeji. So maybe she feels she'll just get a scolding if she shows that she still cares about them. Babes did scold her just a few minutes ago regarding the same.

Wohi jo uski beti usse karwana chahti hai as usual.. She wants to make the Khuranas feel her apnapan and thus is looking for the earrings they gifted her.. Woh pehan k jaegi unse maafi mangne "rolls eyes"

Mini could have told Babita to take a stand for herself without whitewashing Khuranas, especially Lovely.

I am sorry but writers today justified the taunts and torture a bahu goes thru as in-laws aise hi hote hai.
