I guess it's because I focus more on the thoughts and feelings of the characters versus their actions? It's my favorite part of writing tbh. Delving into their psyche and figuring out what it is that makes them behave the way they do.

There are so many things that I want to see from Babita, but one of them is for her to become emotionally stronger. She has an immense capacity to feel for others, but when it comes to herself, she always shrinks away. I want her to be able to grow past that and become the woman she wants to be without any guilt or hesitation whatsoever.

Yes! I still remember thinking while reading your other OS, Worthy, that you just tapped into an entire reservoir of feelings. You delved into Babita's character so well, it was mind blowing.

I'll be waiting for that OS you're writing.

Worthy was a beast of its own. The kind of emotional rollercoaster ride that it put me through, was just something else.

I finally got around to putting up one, Starting Anew. There's another shaadi one that I want to put out before I lose interest.

Geez this was so lovely. Lovely and gorgeous from start to end. I love how Babita openly told him the futility of all promises people made to her. Very natural for a person who's been constantly cheated all her life. Kahan se rahega kisi par confidence? Apne aap par bhi kaise. I loved this part THE MOST. Almost truly depicting Babita's state of mind till now and also, this did come up in the show too, to some extent. Brilliant, Gur!

Also, I loved how ashamed she felt after asking him. Depicts the nature of the relationship, she's only been asking till now without giving.

Amazing part. And amazing reasoning. So articulate and perfect, a falling in place.

Just one little thing, I don't think HS would've gone upstairs and knocked to bilkul hi nahi. That was one part I couldn't fit in the frame. Kuch bhi bata deti, Babita herself opening the door, doubt mein hi sahi and then finding him waiting. Matlab in short I'm just getting irked by the fact that she needs a push and trigger almost EVERYWHERE, by Mini or by HS. Bleeehhhhhh.

I liked the contrast between the hugs. And also, I can perfectly picture the trembling and shivering. Very well done.

The funny thing is that whilst writing my OSs, I pick up on a lot of the internal struggles Babita may be facing. The downside (if you can call it that) is that the show depicts them before I manage to put out my writing. But even then, these issues aren't as extensively looked into as I feel like they should.

Her question was once again linked to her lack of self confidence. Will anything he do ever be enough for her? Or will she forever be doubting him no matter how much he loves her? Will it even be fair to put HS through that for the rest of his life?

I completely get that but given the context of this OS, Babita's fear was taken to an extreme level. She was so consumed by her fears that her breakdown would have manifested itself in either her collapsing or having a panic attack. In other circumstances, HS would have given her the space that she required but he knew that something was wrong with the way she was trembling so much. Think back to the way she behaved when Ashok had made that nasty comment about her. Just completely trapped in her mind, and her body reacting in whatever way it can, in the hopes she'll break out of her trance. If she hadn't been so distressed, she would have opened the door and gone to him herself. She had already turned around and had the intention of doing so. All that remained was for her to actually go ahead and act on it.
