Daughter - Father bonding and loving relationship is one of the most beautiful relationships in the world. Time and again, many shows have been made with this concept in the ITV world and different shows explored this relationship very beautifully as compared to exploration of a relationship between a father and his son. Though, there have been some really memorable father-son duo from ITV which used to stir such warmly emotions inside one's heart and one duo of such father and son is Anurag Basu and Moloy Basu.
Moloy Basu, from his introduction itself came across as a jovial, ebulliant, affectionate, adorable and warm-hearted person. A doting husband and father. Whereas, Anurag Basu on the other hand has been a reserved, introvert and modest person. Who speaks less and observes more. There is a slight contrast in their personalities but when they come together, their these character attributes blend so beautifully that what comes across is a comforting, adoring and devoted love between a father and a son! A love so pure and powerful that I can't help but to feel for them, for the equation they share with each other and for the bliss on their faces, when they are soaked in that moment where a son knows that his father is there for him, no matter what. And a father knows when and how his son needs his emotional support and how disturbed he actually is, no matter what he shows to the world.
Today's scene of Anurag and his Baba, was beauty and purity personified! Today, he was that little kid in front of his father, who seeks comfort in his father's arms and ambience. He was that kid, who did something wrong and the first and only person he thought would understand him and his state of mind was his Baba. The way he went to his Baba with slow steps, disheartened state and soggy eyes, sat beside him and even laid his head on him (which he always does, whenever he is disturbed!) with the hope that his Baba would understand him, his Baba won't think and take him as a bad guy..... He wanted to share his mistake with his father and pour out his emotions in front of him, shows the depth of their connection. I love how Anurag searches for his Baba's comfort whenever he is Happy, excited, sad or defeated! His each emotion leads him to his Baba and that's what makes their relationship pious for me. Moloy Basu, though he couldn't speak to scold or comfort his son through his words but he did make him feel that he is always there for his son, his emotional support is there with him and the look of that concern in his eyes showed how his son's misery affected him. And just one gesture from his side, just a hand caress on his head gave Anurag a certain peace and happiness that his Baba is recovering!
Anurag is lost at this moment, he needs his guardian angel, his father beside him to defeat the evils surrounding him, including the darkness of his own self. And I feel our molly can see it in his eyes more than hearing it from his mouth. A son looks upto his father as the perfect role model whereas the father sees his perfections, strength and flaws through the reflection of his son's eyes. And as they say - The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Anurag Basu might be lost and not in his complete senses at the moment but sooner or later, he will come around stronger and out of this phase as a winner, by winning all that belonged to HIM, with his own efforts , sufferings and hardwork and with his inherited qualities from his father, that makes him his real self!
Parth's and uday sir's personal equation which is quite similar to what they share onscreen, makes there scenes together complete aweworthy! â¤
Also, Just in case if someone misunderstands this post - It is on the pious relationship of a father and a son, and I would be really thankful, if here it gets treated like one!
