I get your point. But then Veena Track becomes completely immaterial. That was a lot of progress for Prerna. I was really happy when she listened to Bajaj and didn't accuse him outright because that showed progress. She was wrong about him and he proved that once. But then she was back doing that in the next episode. While I get the need for angst and how the track unfolds for that angst to turn into trust,her going back at square one was odd to me. The man who saved her mom deserved atleast a little more understanding from her. She called him disgusting and all that which was just CVS trying to heighten the tension bit again,this man saved her mom. That's all. Other than that,I have no complaints from her character. From her taking care of Ex and everything else is still very believable.

You know she surprised me when the ‘goons’ came to attack Anurag *roll eyes* at night. Anurag made it seem so sure it was Bajaj but she said ‘Mr Bajaj wouldn’t do that’. I didn’t even expect her to say that over the man *she used to* trust the most. It is for drama sake they add more to the scene, like you said the word ‘disgusted’ was harsh but if you also noticed, she went to their room and was angry at him in private. Imagine, the guy who has apparently tried to kill the love of your life - would you care where you have a go at him? But she accused him away from everyone else. That also shows a certain level of respect. As soon as she found out Bajaj rejected the bail, she went off to ask him and didn’t even notice Anurag was sitting there. She does do wrong but she does quite a bit of right too which goes unnoticed.
