Even her own mother fails at that. Rishabh gave her that from the get go,no questions asked.

They will both have the last piece of the puzzle with each other.

They really, really are. Pathar ki lakeer types. He is so sure of his decision when he picked her. He didn't take it lightly, bringing someone into his life for his daughter. He knew she would be worthy of his trust and faith, he's just been waiting for her to see the truth.

And YES! Rishabh gave her respect, trust and space from their initial meeting. All their wedding prep stuff scenes were so fascinating to watch because he'd paid such incredible attention to details about her, knowing red was her favourite, knowing about her relationship with Ganpati bapa, every single detail amounting to knowledge about her that no one else is privy too. When everyone thought she wouldn't show up to the mandap, he knew. He knew she would be there. He knows her at times, better than she knows herself.

Prerna is so used to sacrificing her own self-worth and self-respect in order to appease the people she loves, and he continues to push her to fight for herself. Why do you think Prerna argues with Rishabh and no one else? Because she knows she can, because in his presence she knows and is aware that she has agency. Agency to be exactly who she chooses to be. So she fights because she knows he won't ever shut her down, she argues because she knows he has never made her feel small or less than. She doesn't argue with others because how can you when the fight always falls to how pathetic she is? You get tired of fighting when you start questioning yourself. But not with Rishabh, he empowers her and she doesn't even see it yet.

I agree monologues would be helpful, she is at the centre of the love triangle so the writers have cheated her a bit. I get the criticism for her, it’s just that it gets so much at times and when I watch the episode, I end up quite liking her behaviour and I’m shocked that people here are hating her so much. Even when she accused Bajaj, that scene was very well executed. Fine she didn’t believe him, that was her fault but characters cannot always do what we want them to do. Let her misunderstand and then realise her mistake. That makes her more real than the sacrificial crap she comes up with. Her conversations with Bajaj, bad or good make a lot of sense to me at least. In all of this melodrama, if there is anything subtly woven in the narrative it’s PreRish’s relationship I feel. Even in today’s precap, no melodrama. Just subtle guilt and acceptance.

I get your point. But then Veena Track becomes completely immaterial. That was a lot of progress for Prerna. I was really happy when she listened to Bajaj and didn't accuse him outright because that showed progress. She was wrong about him and he proved that once. But then she was back doing that in the next episode. While I get the need for angst and how the track unfolds for that angst to turn into trust,her going back at square one was odd to me. The man who saved her mom deserved atleast a little more understanding from her. She called him disgusting and all that which was just CVS trying to heighten the tension bit again,this man saved her mom. That's all. Other than that,I have no complaints from her character. From her taking care of Ex and everything else is still very believable.
