I always think this way about paridhi yaar , I don’t mind I respect for her that decision yaar, if you can portray a character without any touchy touchy scenes I don’t mind, paridhi is very good actress no doubt.

I think it's an actor's call. I respect that decision and I didn't find anything missing. Yes hug would have made it perfect but, nahi bhi tha to chalega..

Hanuman’s words comes to mind. When Lala said what kind of jaanwar Ashok was, HS said all men are jaanwar. We become jaanwar when our Ego is hurt.

And today keeping it consistent with their portrayal of characters, writers closed that loop too. That Ashok wasn’t evil to start with. He had good qualities but it just that Ashok and Babes weren’t meant to be. Ashok did not have courage to accept that what he did was wrong. When he came with Meeta the rejection and humiliation they got, he couldn’t take it and so he became what he did. That’s how I always inferred him.

Great looping of everything so far. Writers 🥳

And yes, such depth of writing is only possible when characters have been created fully fleshed with back stories right from day 1, otherwise it makes it difficult to portray different arcs. The actors are also aware of these back stories so they bring all those elements into their performance. They understand where the characters are coming from and what their motivations are, so it's much more convincing.

The writers drive us nuts for a few days and all it takes is a few minutes in one episode to shut us up. 🤣
