I am also really glad that Ashok was revealed to be the way Babita described him today.

Methinks it opens the door for his return and entering Minnie's life again.

By the way, HS clearly said that he didn't want to lose Minnie either, which means that despite the awkwardness between them, he still loves her as his daughter.

Phew! I wanted to get some introspection on his part but this was the writers' way of letting us know what he's thinking. I still want them to talk about the CD fiasco openly one day. It's necessary for them to really move on from it, especially for Minnie.

I'm very very very happy today. I got admiration for everything they've shown.

Truly a gem of a episode.☺️

I wasn't. I had always expected that. He had always spoken well of her until his ego got the better of him.

I wonder if Minnie will ever find out that what her mother had told her about Ashok and her love story wasn't all lies. It would help Minnie heal to a great extent and also understand that not all relationships are meant to last but some do, like Hanita's.

@bold, I was saying this the other day and we all had a good laugh. This would be interesting.

By the way, after she revealed her insecurities to him, it is only natural that they would become intimate because one of the best ways that he can show her how much he loves her in that situation is to express it verbally and physically.

And yes, it's natural for that to happen. They both love each other, chose each other, and want to be with each other. There was no compulsion on either side and this is what happens in real life too so I don't see any problem with it being on the second night of their marriage.

Also, the writers again took a dig at all the shows where they make such a big deal in the lead up and aftermath of consummation scenes with all the fluffy stuff. This is them keeping it realistic.

I think the next phase is about Babita trying to learn to understand her rights and ask for them. I won't be surprised if she makes a move on him too from time to time because with such an encouraging husband like HS, which wife wouldn't?

Verbally we saw it but physically they could have just indicated by a hug or forehead kiss then the scene would have been complete n magical. I don't think it would have made scene unrealistic but more complete .I don't know what's the problem.

And today she says that he was always good. And Biji used to say that from the start he was always badtameez and naalayak, that is why he did not take her... What are the Cvs even upto?????

beeji really said that ?

This is what I can't understand either. The way he behaved with Babita didn't display an ounce of love for her. It was just one constant abuse after another. It's almost as if she was speaking about a completely different Ashok than the one we saw. 😕

That's why it does makes sense... Babita being sad or Ashok behavior and betrayal... Do u think a woman who is abused by her husband since day one of her marriage will feel bad if her hubby has an affair and again abusing her now.. Of course she will feel bad but she won't be broken... And Babita was broken and she ain't feel that coming to her and when it came it hit her harder...

A woman who will be ill treated by her husband from day one will never be like Babita how she was in starting of the episodes.. I have seen such woman in reality they will not have any emotions in them u know... They will be just like they are breathing that's it no life...

That's why it's making sense that Why Was babita holding on to Ashok in initial episodes...

I don't think so. I think they just slept together. Not in the sexy way, but the innocent way, with her head on his shoulder. 😆

Well Babita did say she had put her head on his shoulder. 😆

Babita said that Ashok loved her a lot, took care of her and never touched her without her consent. They were happy whenever he was with her etc. That's why she was so thrown off when he came back with Meeta.

I am so glad he didn't hurt her and was actually always considerate of her needs. I think the CVs butchered his character towards the end by showing all that violence but who knows?!
