anurag the character is very interesting these type of guys should not fall in love in real life

He needs psychiatric help. The guy literally nearly killed himself to show Bajaj in a bad light infront of Pre and win her back. He could have ended up in a vegetative state, lost an arm or a limb if not death itself. He is not some hardened criminal used to planning and plotting to gain what ever he wants at the risk to what ever consequences to who ever. If he is THIS desperate, it shows how disturbed his mind is.

Sure he went after someone who had been hounding him right before his whole life turned upside down. But he still does not know the level of wrong that Bajaj has done to him yet. Ironically he showed Bajaj what it feels like to be plotted against and put in jail for attempted murder which he did not commit.The very situation Anu was put in which he manipulated to his advantage to get Pre.

Difference is Anu put his life at risk and was going against someone he believes to be a bad guy while Bajaj had nothing to lose and was calmly plotting to invade two peoples lives that had done nothing to him.

Sure I am hell dissapointed with Anu today. He is some one who had even showed remorse for his enemies. A character we have watched a whole year for now...not some month old character who has yet to show who he is.

If Pre can't see the need for the truth now, maybe she is waiting for him to commit suicide successfully because if that girl gives even an ounce of care for him this is a wake up call to tell him the truth.

I don't think she is in any mood to inform him about her pregnancy and that's why all her sacrifice thing looks so fake now. I really don't wanna talk about her anymore. Anurag risked his life and now he is alive to live a lonely life all thanks to both husband and wife 🤔

I think moral constrictions and judgements put characters in a box. Something that ITV does allow for, given its long running time span, are arcs. All kinds of arcs. To say that Anurag always needs to play from within a box and Bajaj needs to play within his, is restricting the characters and everything they can or cannot do/can or cannot be. Bajaj can both be an asshole, completely callous to the pain of others, and sensitive to a degree where the same pain puts him in a frenzy.

Likewise, this plot was ALWAYS in the making for Anurag. He's bee unable to handle what Prerna did to him. I will not comment on his character arc because that will take a long post in itself, but the moment he started on his path of vengeance against Bajaj, both Anupam and Nivi saw something dangerous in him, they both voiced the same and tried stopping him. He's been witnessing a slow descent and Prerna's partially responsible for that. She needs to give him a closure. How he takes that closure is on him, but he deserves it nonetheless.

His character arc was always meant to hit rock bottom before it could rise again. Very heathcliffish but there's nothing wrong with exploring the absolute madness, obsession, and destruction love can bring. Forcing labels like good, bad, white, black flatten out stories until they all look, sound, feel the same. I think I'd rather enjoy the character arc Anurag is bound to take. The transformations and resolutions matter. And Anurag will probably come out of it as someone who realizes where he went wrong and put things right.

His character growth will define him and this change is kind of welcome change as I've read many comments against Anurag labelling him as unidimensional and boring etc etc. So I'm all for his journey but importantly Prerna is a big NO for him. Just stay away from him and just leave BB at once.

Anurag has gone insane. To actually conspire and trick someone into getting your accident done is horribly wrong.

He is completely obsessed with Prerna. A part of me wants to hold her responsibile for his state, wants to shake her and tell her - See, what have you done to him.

But then the better sense prevails and I know SHE is NOT responsible for his obsession.

(When a woman dumps a man and moves on , and the guy starts stalking her and is obsessed with her, we start giving reasons and hold the woman responsible, which is completely wrong. He is responsible for the stalking, slap, and now criminal conspiracy)

Note to CVS :-

Thank you CVS for butchering Anurag to uplift another character. If you had better scriptwriters, you would have realised a show can have two heros and you don't need to butcher one to establish the other. Both have their own fanbase and rightly so.
