Mr.Basu , this is not acceptable!

Yes what Anurag did is totally wrong. For two reasons, he cannot risk his life for the sake of a lady.

Firstly, He has responsibilities, family to take care of , father who is dependent right now, mother, sisters. And considering that Anupam knew everything all the while, if something would have happened to Anurag, he would have been destroyed too, and I doubt he would be in a position to stand by his family. As I mentioned somewhere else, money is not everything, emotionally Basu family is very weak and they love Anurag selflessly. The step he took just so that Prerna realises, could have been very dangerous and irreparable.

Secondly, he said he did exactly what Bajaj did, two wrongs don’t make the act right. He is framing an innocent man to make sure Prerna realises that she still loves Anurag. What is the difference between Bajaj and Anurag then? And to hell with the difference, what about Kuki? If we say Bajaj is wrong in punishing Anurag for Moloy’s deeds, Anurag is wrong in punishing Kuki for Bajaj’s deeds. Putting her to bed, getting close to her, genuinely loving her shows the positive front of Anurag, but do all these things matter when you deliberately send a girl’s father to jail for a mistake he hasn’t committed? No!

Sorry guys, i like Parth a lot but I cannot accept anything that is being thrown at us just coz I like Parth.

bajaj ne jo bhi kiya ab tak so kiya....he is a ruthless businessman....sabhi ko pta hai....companies ko take over karna isme criminal act toh nhi hai...agar kisi ko dikat hoti toh case karte na bajaj pe...anurag kaun hota hai bajaj ko in sab ke liye saza dilane wala..yeh jo kahani boli anurag ne koi tuk nhi banta..sidha sidha bol mujhe tum chahiye prerna kisi bhi kimat pe..main kisi bhi had tak ja sakta hun.🤢i am a parth samthaan fan but i don't like anurag character at all...

IMHO, this is one the few good writing decisions by the creators. They have been showing his downward spiral for sometime now and he hit a new low, and tried to outwit a man, way beyond his league.

Anurag’s fall from the self made pedestal of ideal son, friend, etc is needed to humanize him and show to what lengths people are willing to do for their love. His actions have been creepy, wierd but in a 1% realistic world, he would need lots of therapy to get over this trauma. But, I am more surprised that his friends- Anupam and Shivi haven’t put their foot down, rather just supported him in blind hate towards Bajaj.

In this show, all the three main characters at the crisis mode have made Their decisions and this was Anu’S decision. It was dumb, and petty, childish, and desperate. But, it shows the extent he is willing to go for his love. That isn’t to say that they won’t redeem him later and give him his arc.

Look, you already know that Anu/ Pre won’t be together, and so, you need a catalyst to cause a rift between them. What justifies prerna making the decision to be with Mr. Bajaj and being him being her true love? Otherwise, what is left to show?
