Now at least Minnie knows about some of the angst he's feeling and doesn't want him to suffer in this marriage. She learned and observed a lot of things about their dynamics and about Babita today.

I kinda agreed with HS that it would have been better to remain in their previous status rather than marry and have regular arguments with no peace at home.

Also loved that the father in him spoke out about not embarrassing Minnie and not being unfair to her by dragging her in the middle of everything or hiding behind her.

He needs to control his temper, though because Babita will shed tears and his promise of not letting a woman cry in the haveli will not hold for long.

It's actually not weird at all. They are both doing the same thing by avoiding talking about such a painful topic and sweeping it under the rug, while suffering inside. This time it's even worse because neither of them is willing to acknowledge just how hurt they were by the argument over the CD.

Loved loved loved HS outburst. It's amazing how he judges the situation correctly even when his emotions are entangled. This again made me wonder about his behaviour during CD fiasco . There must be something more into it.

Two points that stood out for me

1. HS can still read his veer balika. Even when he was angry and hurt beyond measure he didn't fail to notice embarrassment on her face.

2. Minnie talking about how good HS is and how much he has done for them one again cleared she is far away from accepting him as father.

I agree, today I also felt there was something more to his reaction about the CD.

Agree with your points, especially #2. But I wonder if on some level that's her way of consoling herself that so what if HS said those things about being a father, he's still a really good person.

It was telling that she actually said she wanted to trust him in future too, meaning there was some room for doubt in her mind as to whether he'd do something to break her trust.
