This chapter is simply excellent. We are waiting to see how you build up the tempo of the story in the next 6 chapters to only throw us off the cliff on Chapter 20.

I believe you will reveal a twist in each chapter leading up to Khushi falling Hook Line and Sinker for Arnav and Arnav deciding to let go of Khushi for her Khushi which will give him pain. Poor Arnav his share of betrayals has not yet got over but just begun.

I am sure we will be seeing Khushi's love for Arnav flourishing in the next few chapters but Arnav's Khushi will be forced to wither away because of the circumstances that may be created to force them apart.

It will be Khushi who will have to take the bull by its horns to help Arnav rise from the depths of sorrow that his actions are going to lead him into.....

I wil have you know that our expectations from you and Withered have increased by Leaps and Bounds, Writerji.

I loved what is written in the Quote. It aptly defines the relationships.
All the stories that we used to read end saying – So the prince and the princess got married and lived happily ever after.
These stories somehow give us the impression that life is now happy.
Unfortunately that is not the case.
Any relation needs to be nurtured with Tender love and care daily. Its like watering a plant daily to keep it alive, growing new leaves, bud that slowly flowers and withers later giving rise to a new leaf, bud and a flower.
Here one feels that Arti marriage actually means that their relationship will last. Alas that is not to be. Arhi marriage was based on an understanding by Arnav that all is well, he loves Khushi and she does not have anyone in her life and she will fall in love with him and they will live happily ever after.
Little does he know that Khushi is a woman with her own mind and principles and she had loved Akash. Her relation with Akash floundered because neither she nor Akash cared enough to make something of it nurture it, alas it withered into nothingness and now Akash is trying to revive the withered relationship by going back in time which is not possible. Khushi has moved on, a new leaf, a new bud Is already in place. She is on her way to let Akash out and move Arnav into her life.
The quote also applies to Arnav’s relation with his friend Aman and mentor Shyam. Soon he will realise that the relationship with them was a sham and it was their selfish intention that made them befriend Arnav hence this relationship is on its way to be broken soon.
Manohar too had felt that Aarti was like a new leaf in his life, a new flower that removed him from the desert that was his life with Priya to the Oasis that was the life with Aarti and Arnav his adopted son. Alas this relationship couldn’t stand the test of time and when Manohar needed to nurture the relationship with Arnav, he left him stranded and went back to the life he had before Aarti. back to the life with Priya, a loveless one at that. Maybe he did this because he knew he had left his kids in a lurch in pursuit of the Oasis that was short-lived.
A father daughter relationship with Payal was doomed from the beginning when Manohar left Payal with Priya and now Payal who is used to a loveless life is not ready to accept Manohar as her father. Will he be able to bring back happiness in his life?
Withered, the story takes us from one aspect of life to another delving into the intricate lives of the protagonists and antagonists making us laugh or cry or falling in love, hate them.
I feel Khushi is now letting go of her past completely. She has accepted Arnav to be at par with Manohar. A far cry from the time when she never gave time of day to Arnav. She is trying to nurture her marriage but I feel by the time we reach chapter 20, we will find Khushi to be a person who is totally in love with Arnav and by then Arnav would have learnt some truths about Akash and Khushi and we will find a totally indifferent Arnav who again will start hiding his hurt within him and release Khushi to pursue her happiness. Will we really see a separation between them or a misunderstanding that will push them apart. Is it possible that chap 20 will have Khushi saying ‘I Love You’ to Arnav for the first time and Arnav acting indifferent?

Arnav has yet to reveal his real state to everyone. He is portraying himself as an idle person but he has a shaatir dimaag.

So the apocalypse has hit the Kapoors. Waiting to see the ramifications of the same in each person’s life. Shyam is acting as a support to Arnav who is maligning himself along with the Kapoors whilst wanting public support for PSP.

Looks like Arnav had shrewdly given the interview before going to dinner with the Kapoors.

Shashi appeals more and more to us. A good husband, a perfect father (an antithesis to Manohar) a good friend… Alas! If only he was there to know the real Arnav.

Shashi has been the pillar in his daughters’ lives. Anjali is picturing Vidur as the perfect man in her life, though her fear is making her think twice about her heartfelt emotions for him. Anjali’s dream about Vidur becoming the focal point in her life is really lovely

It appears that Anjali has met her ideal man. What is it that forbids her from accepting her affection for Vidur. Anjali is very sensitive about her handicap and hence it will need Vidur a lot of effors to make her believe that he really cares for her (if he does so)

Am feeling sad for Khushi for she is in a dilemma. Arnav’s confession about the past had left her in no doubt that she should and she is with her husband supporting him against Manohar but the revelation made by Arnav has put her in a tight spot for she is working with Manohar and Arnav has revealed his rift with Manohar to all and sundry.

Once Akash realizes that Arnav isn’t going to retract his statement, he is going to file a suit against Arnav for defamation. Am sure Shyam or Viraj will not be there with Arnav for support. Moreover they are going to drag the drug business without informing Arnav. What will his reaction be? Khushi is also going to be affected now. If Aman endorses this, Payal is going to have his hide. Will Aman betray his dear friend for the sake of the Party? I have a feeling Manohar will come to talk in support of his son Arnav and take the blame for the drug habit that Arnav got into after Aarti’s death.

Loved the way in which Manohar brought out the truth of his actions to Arnav. Arnav had only thought about taking revenge on Manohar and Akash but did not realise that Aarti’s name also will be dragged into the mud. From what Manohar says, Arnav will soon realise that his hatred was baseless and he was never guilty of ruining Aarti.
It is sad to note that Manohar who only wanted a life with a loving family was left with everything but what he craved desperately for.
We know that Manohar has an ace up his sleeve. How will he use it remains to be seen.

What an update, N. I had said with Chap 12 that you have outdone yourself, but no, you have proved me wrong, and this one has taken your penmanship and character portrayal to an altogether different level. 👏

If the conclusions are challenged, revolt is inevitable.. hw true. Arnav has not challenged Khushi's mentor and put her in a tight spot. But the day is not far when Khushi would indirectly bring Viraj, Aman and Shyam's misdeeds to light.

Then it will be a clash between the titans.

Khushi, whose taken Arnav's love for granted, will see a side of him that is unfathomable to her.

And Arnav, his love for Khushi surpasses everything and everyone. However, her betrayal will bring him to ruins and how.

At the helm of it all, will be their marriage, one which I am assuming Arnav will throw away and Khushi will catch it. Well Said

I have so much more to say, but I am controlling myself cos I dont want my assumptions to overshadow my judgement. But I think, the way the update ended, Arnav is in for a rude shock.

Also, I feel Vidur and Anjali are meant to be, albeit after a while.

Once again, N... this chapter has taken you to an altogether different level as an author.

Arnav is a person who goes all out for bringing happiness to the persons whom he loves the most. Khushi is closest to his heart. He is ready to throw away his happiness and embrace pain if he feels that Khushi will remain happy. Waiting to see what is that which drives him away from Khushi when Khushi realises that her perceptions about Arnav were totally wrong and she cannot live without Arnav.

He spending his life with his family lavishly and then behaving forlorn Infront of Arnav and Khushi is something which does not setting with me..

He did divorce Priya kapoor and married Aarti. But once Aarti was dead, he went back to Priya, with Arnav.

A dad is every girl’s idol. She sees the love that her dad has for her mom, the love that her dad has for his daughter.This is what every girl looks in her man. An honest person with a good heart, ready to shower his love and affection for his better half, offer his protection, ensure that his better half does not hurt herself physically or emotionally when he is present….
Anjali has her father as an ideal man in her heart. Vidur has come very close to being an ideal man in her opinion. Her handicap forbids her from weaving any dreams around Vidur.
Diametrically opposite is Payal who has had a father who never showed his love for his wife or his daughter (or so she thought), a brother who was too busy to have time for her initially. It was only after her Arnav bhai came to her life that she came to know what love was. No wonder she is following Arnav’s footsteps. Arnav is too busy to realise what Payal is doing with her life

Arnav is shrewd but he hasnt borough that to fore.
Will Vidur replace Shashi’s affection in Anju’s life ??
