Only couple of movies like swades and Chak de are exceptions..

Maybe not Cocktail. She showed some variation in her dialogue delivery there. But her delivery is monotonous in every other work she’s done.

I agree with Ayushmann and actually I didn't like any of his movies except Bareilly and Article 15. Can't believe how he got national award for Andhadhun when his acting was standard. Nothing special at all

I agree. Her voice modulation needs work big time. Barring a few movies its indeed bad. But her acting is not one note. Her expressions are not. She doesn't have the same ticks or uses the same tricks in every role.

I think the problem is a lot of the actors that are being mentioned choose the same archetype roles and the basic underlying skills required for those roles are the same - and looks very repetitive on-screen.

For me: Shraddha and Sidharth - these two no matter what the role given to them I always see them as the actors they are and never the characters. And they always seem to be playing an extension of themselves.

Alia bhatt. Her acting is very predictable. Before the actual scene it is easy to predict how will she emote in the next scene, the nose flaring , the cries , the dialogue delivery everything.

In fact currently there are only very few unpredictable mainstream actors in BW like Ajay devgon, Paresh rawel , Ab senior in author backed roles , Priyanka chopra again in author backed roles.

I think she's been very versatile before her stints with SLB - her last two roles in her SLB films have felt the same to me - Mastani and Padmavati. She sounded/acted the same and her performance in both was such a disappointment to me when I know she can act well. That's just my opinion ofc and you're entitled to yours.

Paresh Rawal is so fun to watch onscreen! Oh my god you never know what he's going to do next even if you have an idea of the character he's playing, he's just naturally talented that he makes anything given to him shine.
