Why would Netflix be a No for them? Why is it too late? Anyways I just read that Juhi is doing a web film. Wonder if it's Netflix or AltBalaji. She did do a cameo in a AltBalaji show.

If they wanted to branch out they would have done it already..like Sridevi did with the likes of EV. But their comebacks in comparison have been lacking imho.

Didn't know that she did that, I was thinking that iconic actresses like them may think that a web show may be beneath them..

I thought by branching out you meant acting using different platforms, e.g. theatre, going digital. How is EV an example of branching out? Also, I don't think either Madhuri or Juhi would think it beneath them to star in a web series. Globally, most of the worthy talent moved to TV and streaming platforms: that's where fresh ideas and good money are.

No I was saying in terms of the type of movies and roles they do. EV was a content driven movie and something different for Sridevi..but Madhuri's last few comebacks weren't.

How is that true? Most of the popular Hollywood actors still don't do any streaming show, same is true for Bollywood.

I may be in minority but I always found Juhi to be a better looker and actor than Madhuri....and also I found Juhi's chemistry with the 2 Khans better than Madhur's ...Madhuri always looked like an older sister to the baby faced Khans....but in dance Madhuri is way ahead of Juhi.

TV offer has long surpassed feature films in terms of content, diversity, fresh ideas, risk-taking. The fact that the likes of Leo di Caprio don't do TV or streaming shows means very little. As to Bollywood, it's difficult to take most of its products seriously, but the presence of Netflix and the likes in India will enforce changes in mainstream filmmaking, too. It's inevitable.

I think that's generalizing..most tv shows are still garbage. Just look at the network shows in America. Netflix is a bit better but also known for inconsistent quality see the Netflix Marvel shows, House of Cards, Orange is the new black etc. all started out well but went to shit.

I don't see that happening any time soon..Sacred Games S1 was well received but the second season was already trashed by many and no other show has been nearly as popular. With tv shows the quality of a show can go downhill really quickly
