It's a tricky situation but does KaiRa have da right to punish Vedika?

After reading several recent posts on the forum it kinda made me feel brave enough to put forth my views as well; coz I felt that the bashings that typically follows a post that is not “Lead Couple praising” wouldn’t blow out of proportion.

Not that I have any issues with bashing ... I couldn’t care less but then more the bashing less the discussions .

Like I mentioned this is not a KaiRa praising post. That does not make this a bashing post either. But yes, I have issues with how things are being shown through the actions of the lead couple.... especially when it comes to Vedika.

I am neither a KaiRa fan nor a Kartik-Vedika fan. I am simply a neutral viewer who started watching the show after noticing the adorable... cute as button Kairav on screen. Knowing that he was KaiRa’s son piqued my interest... because I couldn’t imagine the young Shivangi play a mother on screen. But the mother-son chemistry was captured so beautifully that I took an interest in the track. Then when I realized that Kartik and Naira weren’t together and she’s a single mother I got further curious to know what happened and watched the episodes before the leap to get a clear idea. I watched the whole Kartik doubting Naira, questioning Naira's morality episodes, she leaving etc. and have been watching every episode since.

So my post is purely based on the events since that infamous incident and has nothing to do with what happened before .

I know that KaiRa is janam janmantar ke saathi ....that they’ll eventually end up together and all that.... But why are they knowingly and unknowingly punishing Vedika? In fact why is everyone punishing Vedika?

I understand perfectly well that what’s being show is a tricky situation...But life is such. And that’s no excuse to hurt her in this manner. Especially since she didn’t ask for this !

When Kartik decided to flush his trust in Naira down the toilet and question her character and when Naira decided to run away rather than stay in the same city and punish Kartik for his emotional betrayal it was a choice they made. Regardless of whether it was a conscious or emotional choice......it was their choice. They chose to ruin their relationship and the beautiful life that they had built together.... But why ruin Vedika’s life?

Vedika may have harboured a soft corner for Kartik... secretly and not so secretly she may have harboured the desire to marry Kartik. However she never imposed that desire upon him. It was his decision to marry Vedika and yes Suhasini and Manish are equally to be blamed as well; as it was Suhasini's emotional blackmail and Manish's almost threat that drove Kartik to propose Vedika in the first place.

But now that the marriage has taken place how is it that everyone is oblivious to Vedika’s plight? Kartik had point blank told Vedika he can never love her but that he’ll try and keep her happy. But with Naira’s entry Kartik seems to have turned back on his promise and even Naira isn’t exactly respecting where Vedika is coming from.

Yes, KaiRa were deeply in love and therefore many things, actions, words etc. come to them naturally... But it’s the lack of restraint they are not exercising that infuriates me. Again, yes it’s a tricky situation but small things done consciously to ensure that the other person isn’t hurt can go a long way... And that’s were Kartik and Naira are failing miserably as humans.

Kartik questioned Naira’s character...as he felt she was betraying him. What the hell is he doing now? Isn’t Kartik is blatantly betraying Vedika ?

I get that he is a father who missed out on so much because his then better half decided to stay away; and whatever he is doing is to make up for that. But many instances in recent times highlighted the fact that regardless of the love Kartik has for his son... He is using Kairav to get Naira to stay back as well. Phir chahe wo Intentionally ho ya na ho.

On the other hand Naira isn’t using her son as an excuse like Vedika accused her... But she as an individual is behaving like she never left ; which would have been perfectly alright if Vedika isn’t in the picture... Her words of assurances to Vedika somehow are just that – WORDS

Yes, her priority is still her son but during several instances she has been doing things without thinking or respecting Vedika’s feelings.

Sad thing is Naira could have easily stopped all of this... Had she entered Goenka Mansion after reaching the premises and stuck to her intent of revealing the truth no matter what... None of this would have happened.

Things wouldn’t be smooth... But Kartik would be less angrier and annoyed at her arrival...Goenkas would be less affected by the whole thing since they get their waaris...and Vedika would have suffered a relatively smaller heart break.....

Though I am not a long time fan of the show what brothers me is the hypocrisy that’s being shown... Har kisi ke liye there is a different set of rules....and that’s really hard to digest.

Kinda looking forward to Vedika confronting Kartik because I honestly feel that the Vedika confronting Naira scene wasn’t necessary. Naira is nobody to her so expecting something from her is futile but Kartik is her husband confronting him, demanding answers from him... Arguing with him makes a world of sense.

Having ranted I do know that the writers are to blamed for this Khichdi 😂😂😂

Hey you’re a neutral viewer and only started watching the show recently ..so you don’t have that bond with kaira that their huge fan following has. It’s an itv fictional show ..where we’ve travelled with this couple for 3 years...this couple have been through everything....love...courtship...marriage ,.infertility issues..separation...divorce,...life threatening illnesses,..remarriage,... high risk pregnancy...death of their first child...baby stealing ..trusts issues..separation...and now entry of a third party in their relationship..and viewers and fans are extremely attached to them ..so yes the fans are extremely unhappy with this marriage of karthik and vedika because obviously they want karthik and naira together..it’s a fictional show where the majority of us are watching it just because we like the lead couple..And regarding vedika..the makers really should not have written this marriage ...they should have got naira to stop the wedding ,.but then they wouldn’t have had all this drama to show us...I think if it was a real situation...we would definitely have sympathized with vedika because truly speaking karthik and naira are a dysfunctional couple who don’t know how to deal with their issues reasonably...and they have messed up Their own lives and now vedikas too. But it’s a fictional show ,.and at the moment vedika is just an obstacle who’s preventing our favourite couple from uniting ..so we are all highly irritated with her lol..😂

As you have said you havent watched before episodes thus you dont know but i really want you to see all the episodes since shivangi and mohsin came into the view...

Then i think you are going to understand.. as a daily viewer...i know how naira has always been on the worse end of any scenario. Whether it be forgiving kartik to throw her out and not even glance at her when she was so distraught because her leg was broken and she couldnt dance. She forgave her mothers murderer... what more a person do for anyone they love..and kartik has always been on the better end.

Naira has been showered with taunts...thrown out of the house...and what not. They have gone through thick and thin. A little way to explain about this is....that vedika claimed to be all caring and good... she also said that if naira came back she will leave no stone unturned to bring them together...she made it clear to kdadi and everyone..that she loved kartik and it was his responsibility to marry her. Kdadi got ill and blackmailed him... manish shouted that he doesnt care for family...thus he wad forced and blackmailed into marriage...and for vedika she played everything correctly...she is so nice and good in fromt of every goenkas...she never asked what kartik wants or what anyone wants...its just about her. And then she when alone tells lies to naira about how kartik forgot her and he was starting to get to like her.

Also naira has done everything for the family.... one who could ask for..... even kartik he was a perfect hubby until his all relations with his mom and family were sorted out...then too he was good but in ever separation track they are like this kartik on better end and naira on the worse.

Vedika is a double faced person because she claims to be someone... she is not. She pretends to be a friend to kartik but never has talked about what he wants.

Ps - you should really watch it from starting you will fall in love...even with their flaws ...their chemistry...is like on fire.

Sorry for the rant..i just wanted to explain what lead to so many discussions about vedika.

I pity vedika who is bashed by kaira fans. Hypocrisy at best.

Since the TM highlighted Kaira’s mistakes and chose to overlook Vedika’s blunders I am posting this for Naira’s sake.

Naira ‘s word to Vedika is not just word as mentioned in the post.. She is relentlessly trying to find a way to leave GV without hurting Kairav who got operated just now and couldn’t bear the shock of realisation..that his parents are not together anymore.

Naira never went forward to celebrate festivals or punish Vedika ( that was the word used in the post and I strongly object) It is always done either due to Kairav’s insistence or for Suvarna’s persuasion. She even stayed back in her room till Kartik asked her to come down ..Vedikaji chose to punish Naira with room arrest by bringing her food upstairs.Such was her magnanimity!

All the Goenkas are letting Kairav have his way not without a reason. They never disregarded Vedika or her misplaced aspirations to celebrate even in such trivial circumstances.

Naira got Mehandi not to punish Vedika but because Kairav applied it on her hand. She was always dignified,restrained and never crossed the limits. It is Kartik Who is behaving as if he has only Naira for him and everything else is insignificant . I won’t talk or take a stand for him because he is a puzzle to me.

Naira did not make Ganesh,it is the whole family that made her do it. If that is a punishment to Vedika god save her sensibilities.

Here the reports came,there Vedika started her leave Naira slogan.

Naira is very much right to say” is it that easy to leave..”because Kairav is involved. What if he falls sick..again unable to swallow separation from his father! Only a mother can think about that and take her time to solve the situation. Naira is a very good mother and given space and time she will convince Kairav.

But Vedika’s insecurities touched the highest limits.

Doesn’t she know how passionately Kartik loved his dead wife?

Is she the one whom he loved and got married?

She is cheating herself and cheating Naira also by claiming her marriage as love marriage.

Vedika is that woman who can’t bear to see the happiness of a child and the family that got such pleasure after years of gloom. She is harmful unlike Naira who never wish bad for others.

Naira will punish herself now but she won’t punish Vedika..It is rare to see such women with golden hearts..We always come across Vedika type women who love themselves first.

The dance of celebration and falling asleep on bed are not out of place for me. I can understand but for Vedika it must be a punishment.

Vedika is aiming for something that is not within her reach..Kartik’s love..I hope she realises her futile attempts to save her relationship with someone who is neither interested to look at her nor leave her with honesty.

Naira was always in the forgiving end,fine but she should have gone to her maternals family when karthik doubted her. All this years kairav was living without his father,all of a sudden viewers feel that kairav needs his father!!

Sad even viewers like us are using kairav for kaira union. No woman will allow her husband to live with first wife under one roof.

Dadi totally forgot vedika and isnt akhilesh to be blamed too. If had revealed to the family about naira being alive, marriage would not have happened. Vedika wouldn't be this much hurt. To remains single after getting married is horrible.

seriously? I have been watching yrkkh from naitik kidnapping drama in swiss track when hina was in the show. Vedika is a double faced woman? She didnt ask karthik to marry her,it was goenks who was emotionally blackmailing karthik.

Naira was always in the forgiving end,fine but she should have gone to her maternals family when karthik doubted her. All this years kairav was living without his father,all of a sudden viewers feel that kairav needs his father!!

Sad even viewers like us are using kairav for kaira union. No woman will allow her husband to live with first wife under one roof.

Dadi totally forgot vedika and isnt akhilesh to be blamed too. If had revealed to the family about naira being alive, marriage would not have happened. Vedika wouldn't be this much hurt. To remains single after getting married is horrible.

When has naira done anything which has caused such harm ? I am not saying vedika deserves this..but just because she pretends to be good..doesn't mean she is.

She made it clear to every goenka that she expects marriage..kdadi literally said to kartiks face that vedika is waiting for years to marry kartik... what more a person could do. The problem is not with their marriage the problem is if she knew that kdadi has forced kartik why didnt she talk to him ? As a mature girl why didnt she tell kartik that she loves him and if he doesnt love her back its okay...because as a friend they will always be there for each other. She pretends to be a friend but she is the one who is wanting to separate son and father...not even naira ...she tried explaining.

Naira doesnt deserve this. She has given her soul to this family. Natik never remarried...why ? Because he knew no one could take aksharas place..why didnt naira find a guy ? Why didnt they show us naira having a love connection with other guy ? She has always been taunted...she was never stood up for. I watch this serial for kaira. I deeply have this connection as a fan to them. But besides that we have always taken sides when they are wromg and right.

No matter what has happened ..naira was the one who forgave kartik ... to swap babies. She forgave for throwing her out. WhT more she could do ? Swrna the one who took 2 years of her life...she forgave her in an instant. Kartik has always been with the family..he was never away or abandoned...even by singhanias... i clearly remember naksh dancing like anything in the marriage even after naira was throwm out. Who is there for her ? I have seen everyone talking about how vedika is the one who is suffering ..how kartik was lost all 5 years..never had anyone talked about naira being in difficulty. She chose this but doesnt deserve taunt every moment. The last straw was the taunt of being ex wife... when her kid was fighting for life. And then singhanias made me laugh by sending their beti gifts.

@bold orange - i dont know from where you got this idea that kdadi ignored her..but kdadi has given sympathy glances and told vedika she is the wife every single time. In this track it was kartik and naira who knew thus kdadi held nairas hand.

Nobody knew that akhilesh knew about naira being alive except him...thus no one questioned him.

@bold blue - no one wants naira to stay in the goenka house...if you read the previous threads its all about how naira needs to be firm with kairav.... nobody is waiting for this reunion through kairav that is old school they are not even showing us this...they will show custody case.
