The Madhubala-Meena-Nargis-Nutan generation said the same thing about the Sadhana-Mumtaz-Sharmila generation. The same was said about Hema-Rekha-Zeenat-Parveen etc. Heck even in the 90s everyone was complaining about them, but now it's seen as a golden era for folk who grew up in that decade.

Don't worry, the next generation will all be crying that standards have dropped because there's no Deepika / Sonam / Alia / Anushka etc

The likes of Alia, Shraddha & co. are already worse than Deepika, Katrina etc. the latter are 2000's actresses who carried over so really standards are declining each decade.

I don't see how that can be denied, look at the newest like Jhanvi and Ananya..

If you're gonna start comparing one-film-old Ananya and Janhvi to Madhuri and Juhi then I give up already. But if you really wanna go there then I'll say this: Anya and Janvy and Sara are better in their first films than Madz-Sri-Juhi.

I mean Alia has already been going strong for like 7 years..and she still pales in comparison. I doubt Ananya and Jahnvi are somehow these revelations..

Their professional rivalry was deep that media said Madhuri introduced Jay Mehta to Juhi (of course not directly ) to get her to focus on her personal life...

It’s not about complaining for the sake of it lol

I wrote what I felt and from what I have seen. Standards have fallen drastically -

You might have a different opinion -

Professional rivalry was not really in 'chilled out' zone in 90's. There were cut throat competition and loads of dirty stories. Cat fights , open altercation everything happened..The stars were not sophisticated, polished and groomed as todays stars..but due to limited presence of media a lot of things were hidden under the carpet.

Regarding Mads and Juhi, as per I know, there were only professional rivalry. So they could work together later in Gulab Gang
