Why do the keep changing things to suit the current storyline 😤 this is a total contradiction to when she was crying on the bed telling Nb how in love she is with Hs (which mini overhead and realised babita returned hs feelings).

They did the same thing with introducing the ego storyline out of nowhere which just didn’t fit in. I’m really going off the character of babita. Past insecurities and social conditioning is one thing, but she is a nightmare and somehow she’s managed to raise this strong mature teenager.

They really aren’t portraying women’s emancipation and a second marriage too well!

Bold: I don’t see any of her so called self respect here where she’s insinuating she married a man to father her daughter from another man. Sorry for the rant, the last few days have pissed me off and I actually thought it’s going to improve. I’m not even looking forward to watching the episode now

On the one hand they portray her to be childish and naive and on the other hand a calculating user. She seems more like a car crash in terms of writing than a complex character

Sorry but she could have alternated her time between her daughter and husband. Ofc she should check on mini, but she should also check on her husband, the man she CHOSE to marry

She could have. I am just saying in the other scenario, people would have bashed her nonetheless.

Anyway, I am done with this. I cant bear to see Minnie being a victim and all other characters being butchered because of it. Waise bhi Hanita, Hanie ko writers ne butcher kardiya hai. What’s the point? 🙄

I feel she’s using Minnie as an excuse right now. The problem is bigger than that. She has intimacy issues. She has never been with a MAN properly. She needs to open up to HS on this.

I also think he needs to go to therapy and I am sure it would do him a lot of good. There's too much angst in him for his family and friends to help him sort out. Some of the pain will always remain, but over time at least he can learn to deal with it. It's all fine to have Minnie be the sunshine in his life, but he needs to get rid of some that darkness of tragedy in his mind and heart permanently. It would be nice to see the CVs show a male lead admitting he needs help and going for counseling without taking anything away from his ability to be a great father, son, husband, brother, role model, and all-round excellent cop.

Word...about the charpaayi. I couldn't have put it better. There's so much symbolism in the screenplay that even if I am so mad about the way the last couple of episodes went, I can't help admiring the level of creativity.

One more thing, your writing and analysis, especially this past week has been even more spectacular than it has always been. I am super impressed by the points you are bringing. Don't know if you are spurred on by HS' angst but whatever it is, I'm loving it. 🤗

More importantly, death has been the foundation for many aspects of his life. His mother's death provoked him to join the police force, Imarti's death made him adopt her values and principles and abide by them to his own last breath. It may be noble, but it's also very damaging to his psyche.

He can't make Minnie be the sole reason of his happy days. He can use that sunshine and the courage he sees in her as motivation to make himself stronger. But on lonely days like today, he has to find a way to get by, himself.

Yup! He'll be a great role model to everyone around, especially because of his position as a police officer. Yes, they're tough and brave, but even they need help sometimes and there's nothing wrong with seeking it out.

Aww, thank you!! 🤗 I don't know if you read my latest OS, "Worthy" but I had gotten so deep into Babita's headspace of feeling cheap and worthy, that it began to bleed into my own confidence on my writing. But ever since I published that, it feels like my own cloudy days are over. 😅

And the format that I adopted is also helping me a lot to give form to the analysis. And as for HS and the show, well, they're fueling me with a lot of spite and rebellion. 😂😂

Show mein jo marzi dekha do, but that ain't my Hanita. 😂😂😂
