And what was the aftermath of that? Didn't all that poison get released somewhere?

His dad was a drunkard so who knows how often he stayed at home in his stupor. If he didn't, then it's most likely that as a young child HS slept with his mom. So it'll be her crying in that room while he tried to comfort her. If this is true, then he wouldn't have the heart to sleep in there alone because all he can hear is his mother's cries.

Even with Babita in that room, he wouldn't be able to have a decent night's sleep. He needs to talk about his mom first, before he can think about moving forward.

Right now, that's all that room signifies. Loss, and a yearning for something that can never be attained.

She can stay in her own little world for as long as she wants as long as HS doesn't have to suffer as a result of it. It's Minnie unfortunately, who will have to step and help him out. But in this case, they will both help each other out to overcome their issues.

That is true. He looks exhausted and is essentially operating on auto pilot. It actually feels like there is a void in his life.

I have a feeling we might see a similar thing to the Imarti track but this time HS helping her understand and motivate her, and especially if he detects that she needs therapy. At least, I hope so. I think it's important for Minnie to know a bit about his childhood trauma and daddy issues so that she can look to him for inspiration again.

Just like he's lost the light and hope with her stepping back, she's in a way lost her idol and inspiration with his retreat. There's no one in the world she can open up to or expose her vulnerability to the way she does with HS. Where will she go? Babita just isn't there yet mentally and needs more time to develop.

The look he gave himself in the mirror, it's as if the fight in him had been lost and so he went back to sleep on the charpaayi. It was simple and hassle free, and he was going back to stripping himself of all the basic comforts of life. Even with the tea, he would be fine with wherever he got it from. So sad.

I only hope now that Nayeem be is the last one standing before she too gets butchered that she talks sence in all 3 of them before the CV catch up with her and destroy her as well in the making of Mini the great.

One point to note is that I remember Nayeem Be taking a promise from the Khuranas that one day she will ask something in return for helping them, I think that She might say not to interfere and let them sort it out themselves.

I just want Nayeem be to advice them before the CV catch up with her.

Wahi to.

I am hoping that NB doesn't take her anger out on Babita because if Minnie sees that she will go running to Beeji again and more siyappe.

Damn, NB is going to be hurting so much seeing HS like this. Lala is already feeling terrible. They were there when the whole Imarti thing happened, and to think this wedding had to end up this way? Uff!

I too just remembered her rishton ka qarz dialogue, but can we expect any decency from them?

But it's true. Everything is in front of that room.

His charpayi, the kitchen, the coffee table, the main entrance, even the stairs leading to Imarti's room. It's all in front of his mother's room.

He may not have ever opened it in years, but he was always aware of it and his mother's presence.

Truly. Being married, he must have assumed that he has finally gotten someone to whom he can share all his problems with, but now even that assumption has been squashed. It sucks. He thought Minnie wanted a father but that's not true; she just wanted a husband for her mother. He thought Babita wanted a husband, but all she wanted was a father to her daughter. So now he's stuck between these roles because the mother-daughter's wishes aren't lining up.

He's already on that path and it's so heart breaking to see that. To think HS will come to a position like this one day. 😭

Ufh! Imarti was brutal, but even that's starting to pale compared to his mother. I'm giving all the credit for this to Anirudh. I don't know how he's doing it, but he's pulling off that haunted, lost child look perfectly.

@bold... THIS... crux of the problem. Mother-daughter say they are best friends and understand each other but there's a big communication gap between them too.

Beech mein HS ho raha hai halaal. Who the heck is going to hold him close when he loses it about his mother/father/childhood trauma? Right now I am not sure if even NB can handle him then. I don't want Minnie to see him in that state, but looking at the CVs' need to make her the center of everything, she might get involved. Not nice for her to see all that.

Yes, Aniruddh, without words he's just killing every scene. Seriously, that look in the mirror, and later the way he longingly looks at his daughter and wants her to say something, himself wanting to say something but refraining because he's afraid and then looks away. OMG it was brilliant.

Exactly, it had always been there in plain sight, the signs, the meaning, everything. I don't know if anyone has paid attention to it. He really has hidden so many things behind closed doors in that (literally) haunted haveli.
