Nowadays the actresses look generic and are forgettable. There was more variety with 90's actresses and they had way more screen presence.

Not true at all.

The Madhubala-Meena-Nargis-Nutan generation said the same thing about the Sadhana-Mumtaz-Sharmila generation. The same was said about Hema-Rekha-Zeenat-Parveen etc. Heck even in the 90s everyone was complaining about them, but now it's seen as a golden era for folk who grew up in that decade.

Don't worry, the next generation will all be crying that standards have dropped because there's no Deepika / Sonam / Alia / Anushka etc
