That's the parallel they were building, as highlight & disparage between two senior residents with similar BG but different perception/ methods of dealing, no amount of material advantages can make up for lack of caring ,though I feel there'll be a change of heart as the show will move on,with hard hitting realisation during dramatic circumstances 😆

During second season of DMG, they had Dr Tamanna Patil from chawl & her father (if I remember correctly, worked as a sweeper in Sanjivani) more like Sid, a simple senstive girl with an empathic attitude & forever smiling.

Dr shashank is not speaking straight that doesn't mean he really fell in love with juhi . Dr shashank seldomly loose patience . He is just giving pace to juhi

@bold- Agree! The nudge of self conscience & guilt of acting on Dr Rahul's emotional ( blackmail) desiderate, without divulging with Juhi at the time are working corrosively, adding to it Anjali's censure - though the fact that the clarification was interrupted & held, undeniably means a twisted track around the senior characters ( Dr Shashank, Juhi, Rahul, Anjali & Vardhaan ) is in the offing, playing & probing around relationship insecurities.

~yup the scenes of S1 are edited out smartly. Dr Rahul respects Dr Shashank a lot, they all r like family.

BTW meko nai lagta Sid wala koi angle hoga I'm pretty sure.. Sid aur Rahul ka angle ho sakta hai.. even Sid aur Vardhan ka😆 but not Sid and Shashank..
