it is very natural for mini to say meri babes ki shaadi. babes gave birth to her, taught her how to live life, always supported her unconditionally.

HS has also supported mini and babita since they came into his life, but HE HAS missed out on 17 years of mini's life. of course mini is going to be closer to babes.

They should never have got married in such a rush. Just a month back HS was saying that his heart will forever belong to Imarti. Babes is still caught about her earlier life - asking why didn't her in laws send her to London to be with Ashok.

These two are post -35 year, close-to-middle-age people on their second relationship. Their emotional maturity, attitude and outlooks should be different and more grounded than what was being shown.

I have to say I agree. They are totally clueless about his feelings, bechaara kuch expect nahin karta, demand bhi nahin karta unse. The one time he expected his daughter to join his family officially, he felt a slap in the face with the whole speech then the CD.

She said haath choot raha hai... what is he to make of it when he pieces everything together? Normally I would be angry with him for not being sensitive to Minnie but if I look at all the events, and especially her standing back deliberately, I don't think he could have done anything else. He just wanted to complete the rituals and go home without further scenes being created.
