A healthy family is like a symphony where everyone plays a part in keeping the music flowing. So far (until yesterday's outburst) Babita has been shown as a diffident, meek personality and Minnie and HS have picked up cudgels on her behalf, fighting the world for her and trying to help her fight her own demons. Now that her closest two persons are battling a war of estrangement and alienation, it is her duty to return the favors and try and put balm on bruised egos and hurt feelings and bring them back together. I have a feeling the CVs will use NB to do the honors but it will be really disappointing if they don't show the zeal and determination in Babita to try and keep her family together.

• he was already pissed off & hurt and it just got tacked on
• he had already failed in his promise to never make babes cry and while this wasn't his fault, he still couldn't do anything to make her stop
• he had to hear a first hand account of all the things the khuranas did to her & just how far her scars and wounds go. there are so many aspects to her that need to be untangled before she can become truly free

There's probably a lot more but just wanted to point that out real quick.

Yes, that was so obvious, and I think he had a new-found sense of despising the Khuranas, all of them, at that moment and felt helpless that he could do nothing to change her past.

I think he's going to be extra sensitive towards her and even more protective so that nothing gets in the way of her happiness, not just because of his promise to Minnie but because of his promise to himself that no woman would cry in this haveli. She deserves to be pampered, it's long overdue and as HS had explained to Babita, the best way to help her heal is with a lot of love.

I think right now NB and perhaps Lala are the only ones with a birds-eye view, so they can nudge the others in the right direction but each of them will have to make this journey in their own way.

• The Khuranas are to one side for obvious reasons but even in their unit, Lovely and her parents are standing closer to each other while Sukhi is a little apart
• Minnie & Babes are the closest to each other and they even represent that one unit with their similar lehengas
• HS is standing closest to Babita this time around when usually he's nearby Minnie, bridging him to Babes
• But even in his proximity to Babes, he's away from her, like he doesn't completely belong to that unit yet

Noticed this too. Screenplay was brilliant.

Look at the difference in their reactions at feeling rejected by their daughter. Ashok was indignant, violent, furious, aggressive and downright rude to Minnie because his pride was hurt, without trying to understand her pain and concerns or expressing his true emotions the proper way.

HS is heartbroken and distraught, struggling to accept this 'rejection', yet expressing the reason for his hurt while still putting her needs above his and focusing on her happiness, no matter what it cost him.

Even Khatri had used the words "original" and "duplicate" when referring to the two men. The "original" is the father only because of the sperm he donated, whereas the "duplicate" is the father because of everything but his sperm.

That's why it is said ki just by donating a sperm doesn't make you father...

U have to be a father from heart.. And HS is truly that.. Though Minni is not a part of him and I m sure he regrets about it too that she is not a part of him but that doesn't make any difference for him to be her father in all. Sense...

He had already made it clear earlier and yesterday too that though how much ever he is in pain her happiness will always come first for him...

Kudos to the writers and the actors too depict this.... 👏

Even after babes outburst HS was comforting her and when Minni was about to go to her grandparents Babita just called her and HS immediately backed off he took off his hands from babes shoulder... ..god his pain that he don't want to come in between mother daughter and it also shows that nomatter how much he loves Babita he will never come in between them... And this gap have to be filled... Hope Babita does that... As she is there in the middle of father daughter...
