HS for once was letting his hurt speak and could not subdue his pain in favor or being understanding towards others at that moment. I know we expect that of him because we're used to seeing him put others' needs above his, but this pain was too much for him to handle, given the circumstances.
I know he will say sorry to her when the time comes but until then, it ain't gonna be easy and his thoughts will be occupied by Minnie and her supposed 'rejection' of him as her father.
I don't want him to apologize. He shouldn't be sorry for speaking his heart out.
Yeah, if he apologises for accusing Mini that's alright but I'm okay even if he doesn't.
I totally loved how HS spoke his heart out. I don't have any issues with that. Both were hurting beyond measure. I can't even imagine him feeling rejected as a father. Oh Lord no no no. NO.

Am watching the episode again and the way Babita turned around and the LOOK that Babita gives to Lovely when she called HS a sautela baap... it was like, bttcchhhh the fckkk did you just say????
This is the Babita that HS wants her to be, fearless and guilt-free about her emotions. She doesn't need to be mahaan and 'perfect'.
I don't think it's fair to expect Minnie to bridge this gap, at least not on her own. She hasn't seen enough of the world to do this.
In all her 17 years, HS was the first and only person she could go to with whatever issue she had and expect guidance and understanding from him, but what is she to do when the issue involves him this time? She's going to be at sea and battle with these emotions, in the process realizing just how important he is and what she wants from him, but perhaps not knowing how to navigate, Babita or Mickey might be the catalyst but just like with the photo frame scene, I have a feeling that all HS would need is a small sign, a green signal from Minnie that she wants him to be her father, and he'll bound across to her to cover those 10 steps of distance between them.
Exactly what I was saying. Just one call, half a step by Mini and he will literally run towards her forgetting everything. Just once Mini stretches her arms and expresses his importance in her life and it's done. But that by itself is a tough job :/

Yesterday she was truly Hanuman ki Babita. The sherni. The unapologetic woman. The thaanedaarni. 😎
Whatever HS was drilling into her from Day 1 has materialized. He must be so proud.

No he shouldn't say sorry for speaking his feelings but maybe for putting Minnie in that position. I don't think he was accusing her but was question her and in a way questions all his assumptions about their relationship.
Also, I think more than Babita and Minnie, he, as sort of the potential head of the household, was dreaming of having his happy little family and today his world came crashing down.
He did feel rejected, and in the most brutal way. Khatri just rubbed salt, pepper, alcohol in his wound but the wound was always there. He needed to speak out because he's human but also because by doing so he made his stance clear to both Babita and Minnie that despite everything, his hurt and insecurities would come second to Minnie's happiness. That is exactly what a father's stance would be.

Tough but will be a great journey to watch. I am so so so excited to see their changing dynamics. I know they will rock and the actors will just nail those scenes.
HS was clenching his fists when Babita was blasting out. So much to say for that.
There's probably a lot more but just wanted to point that out real quick.
One more thing that was brilliantly but subtly done by the writers. There was an accidental but open comparison between Minnie's biological father and this 'new' father, HS.
Look at the difference in their reactions at feeling rejected by their daughter. Ashok was indignant, violent, furious, aggressive and downright rude to Minnie because his pride was hurt, without trying to understand her pain and concerns or expressing his true emotions the proper way.
HS is heartbroken and distraught, struggling to accept this 'rejection', yet expressing the reason for his hurt while still putting her needs above his and focusing on her happiness, no matter what it cost him.
Brilliant writing!

Their positioning is also interesting.
